Is there some way to get the old Ghost spear mars animation? PK2 editing?

how does the old one looks like? I thought they are the same.

bigger colour intensitivity (is that a real word? lol)

and I thought there was a little uhm...pause before you did it, it was a bit slower then prince but looked twice or even more as good =p

new gsm is really fast
old gsm was slow-ish and had bigger red "circle"-ish effect on ground..

ok i got an old media.pk from 25 days be4 euro update BUT ppl of my guild say it won't gonna work. u think it will work?

Btw i think would need data.pk2 not media ^^

It looks better then our current GSM. Too bad it was too slow. They made it faster to help glavie builds. They should add more to glavie because they made Bow is totally pimped out with better attacks now.

Well i noticed actually they only changed the animation, the animation is faster but the delay until you can use another skill is bigger, with the old GSM you can cast another skill immediately after

New gsm looks gay... its like prince, I want the old one back too it looks less lame.

Yeah, your whole body turned all red/black for the whole Zerk time. Now it isn't as great looking.

I dont think JM will give the old ghost spear mars back, we must just look for a pk edit master who can get a data/media.pk to the old GSM. So pk edit masters we ll wait for u

Haven't touched a PK2 file in ages and I don't even play SRO anymore, but here's a protip for you:

To get original files, just download the original client (1.01) from FileFront and install it, but don't patch it. I believe there are even still manual patches sitting around if you need more recent files.

one problem in those files aren't things about euro so it won't work

Well of course simply copying and pasting them won't work.

The point of having the original PK2 files is that you get access to the individual files contained within them free of any changes Joymax has made to them. Yes, it will take some work to revert things in the current client back to the way they were, but with the original files in hand you can be sure that your changes are true to the original.

i m a pk2 edit noob and my guildmates also. we need some1 who have experience with it and who have time for it

yeah the new one is ugly

pk2 the first book of the ghost spear series to the last 1 and they will all look like the old 1 , i tried it ^^ if u want i can do it :o
