silkroad is an awesome game

seriously almost every person in srf is always complaining about JM and a lot of you play for free and you dont have the right to demand anything at all when you receive something for free, yes they could do better but dont worry about that simply enjoy the game as it is now or leave for good i dont like hearing people flame JM so much when in fact they have created an awesome game and keep giving us new content and improving the gameplay so there it is that is how i feel....................learn to play and stop crying so much enjoy the awesome game that has being given to us

the game is not given to us. JM expects us to buy silk therefore we expect a good game experience and a company that listens to their customers. but JM is not a good company

yes it is a free game and yes they do try to upgrade but they do need to provide better service...and with that people are not helping by calling JM names or any of the other stuff that you do...it just slows down the process

I have to agree with school... I might bitch about JM sometimes but at least it didnt end like DarkEden did before they put it back up..

Personally i think this game is kinda fun, gets my mind off thing when im bored..
And it is free.
The jm's dont have to do anything, Now if we actually had to pay per month, i bet you they would definitley give better service. But since its free its probally always gonna be like this.

Does anyone else find it amusing that this user's name is school, implying that he was at school at the time he wrote that? So he's at school, by types like a 6 year old on AIM? I just find that hilarious.
Whether people play for free or not, school - everyone has the right not only to request, but to demand and expect progressively better service. Why? Because whether you CAN play for free or not, JoyMax is a business. What is the purpose of a business? To maximize profits. How does an MMORPG do that? They release new content AND improve on existing flaws - hence WarCrack's popularity.

a name is a name some people try to find cool ones and other just uses the next best thing that comes up in their mind flaming him just for that is kinda not cool.
what if you can just do step 1 only (release new content and don`t improve existing flaws) making profit with less work perfect business.
people who buy silk deserve service but since joymax does not care best thing all complainers can do is either quit or shut up

Again, it's not the game, it's JM that's ruining it. The game is better than most, and despite what people say, lvling isn't really hard, farming is, and that's probably one of the problems. But what really sucks is the 11 GMs for 28 servers deal. Now that's pathetic. JM is what everyone hates, not SRO.

the game is great, the company is arrogant incompetent and ignorant. i like sro not joymax. i play sro because i like sro, get it? it has nothing to do with me liking joymax because; you dont have to like a company to play their game. when i buy silk its like once in a blue moon, im random. atm i won't buy silk... wanna know why? well because; joymax on countless occasions has failed to realize that they simply letting the community do whatever they want. Joymax fails to realize that this is their game, and that this is their domain and that they should treat it as such, NOT as a "cash crop". at times joymax shocks us all, but most of the time its all a facade. every update they have done is to hide the truth which is; they cannot run a game.
look around the net this is not the first time joymax had darkeden, and we all know what happened to DE the first time >.> it's only a matter of time.
lets look at the main reasons that joymax and the community are destroying this game which has been proclaimed to be great:
1] player bots
2] gold bots
3] community
4] management corruption

You wouldn't be saying that if you had a lvl 80 char which took you 2 years to lvl up and farm then all of a sudden you login and your char is naked and lvl 15 murderer. Then you go to bug report and send them a billion reports about you being hacked then blame them for the account hack exploit but you get no response. You have already paid at least $2000 in this game, wouldn't you be pissed? I mean, after they took YOUR money you get hacked because of THEM. Just imagine...
It's not free for the people who actually pay for this game. Of course they CHOOSE to pay, but we ALL deserve a little ATTENTION paying or non-paying customers. As I've heard before, Joymax needs to learn from Blizzard's customer support.
