check website, new client to download. why do they keep using torrents, they are slow as hell?

I already got the client was downloading with 500kb/sec and uploading with 3.5mb/sec lol, school internet ftw

torrents can be fast if you know how to set it up..just gotta open your ports in your router.. it can be downloaded in 2-3 hours.

Self-correcting and significantly reduces the bandwidth required by the company to provide the same sort of speed, since other people contribute is the main factors.

For a company, distrubution via torrents are win-win-win (time, revenue and support) - I would expect to see more and more deploying updates in the same way as time goes on.

Torrents are only as bad as the cloud - I commonly max-out the full bandwidth with torrents while many direct downloads are limited to less than 100KiB/s, some as low as 30KiB/s and with the common changes to discourage download managers reducing their usability even further.

My guess is that if Joymax were going to shunt up the whole bandwidth for the download, it would be dog slow.
