Since we only get Jangan Fortress, it's logical that the tax only applies to Jangan NPCs. So stop ur whining, at least until they add more cities like Hotan where u get your daily dose of pots from.
Just to make clear,

The problem isnt about how it affects us, its about how it will play out on the new players of sro. For any higher level people, 20% wont make a big difference, thats if someone decided to raise the tax that high, which they probably wouldn't do due to the rating system. Also most high levels have the ability to stock up a few mule chars with potions before the update anyway.
But for people just starting sro, a 20% tax would be hard for them to handle. When i 1st started playing i couldn't afford a regular supply of pots, starting with 0 gold and not knowing how to play the game is a terrible thing to have to do. The tax would impact upon them more than it ever could impact upon the rest of us.

You are first one that said that.
All I ever saw was "oh noes I'm not going to pay 20% extra to some botters" "Oh noes my money"
Nobody ever said anything about poor low level chinese newbies.

Where do you get the info about having just 1 Fortress?
As I read it, it seems they'll be adding fortresses for trade posts and major cities...

This game is HORRIBLE at being "new user friendly." Basically, if you dont have someone there to give you some gold when you first start out, or tell you how to do things, most people wont play because they cant figure things out. (I dont know why, but I had the patience to figure things out, and thankfully, when I asked for help in game, people replied

)

You're*
When the caves open up they sell the pots there and the new npc items. At least that is what I remember from somewhere. Correct me if I'm wrong. Get a screenshot of ksro's jangan's pot shop and blacksmith.

sorry but you are wrong
YES, there were some screens on ksro's screenshots page showing NPC defense trader selling 10th deg items, but those screens were from testing server, 10th deg items are not for sale at the moment, they will be when 11th deg items comes, and only JM knows where they gonna be purchased.
