Okay so the other day I tried to install a new processor (AMD) on my computer. The computer is pretty old and the new processor is 950 mhz and the old one was 800mhz. So now the problem is that I put in the new processor and turned on the computer and nothing showed up on the screen. Well I decided to put back in the original processor and now the computer still wont boot up. So what the problem at hand is that I turn on the computer, it makes all its normal noises but the hard drive light on the front of the computer isn't blinking like it should be. I believe the problem is that the rest of the computer or something isn't reading the hard drives. I have a primary hard drive and a slave drive. I had a similar problem when I first installed the slave drive. I have tried 2 different cables that connect the hard drives to the computer. When I start the computer the hard drive makes a bit of noise but nothing else. So is there anyone that thinks they could help me?
seeing as how the forum gets the most attention and I can't play sro I figured it relates enough to this forum, but move if it has to.
