answer to all the start button problems!

answer to all of you people with the start up button problem, ive had it for a while, truly the only answer is something like this, start button doesnt appear in 5 times, then you reboot. nothing else to do.. durrr.

TO ALL who say that loading the silkroad homepage will help...

for information, the silkroad homepage loads just fine for me...however, the start button still does not appear on the launcher...and yes, i have cleared my internet cache

Erm.. loading of the homepage really works for me... it works

Just open SRO, close SRO over and over again till it appears.

this problem is not with your computer or mine its with joymax router just have to wait for them to fix it so c ya next year

Another fix is to play a different game for 10-15 minutes and try again. haha

99.99% of the time if it doesn't work, it's because the server at jmax responsible for pushing updates and news, etc are not responding. The only "fix" is to keep trying until it does respond. Rebooting your computer doesn't DO anything except make you wait to try again, at which point the server is probably responding again. Loading the SRO web page is kinda the same thing. The only problem that can really exist on your end is if you have some oddball problem with resolving the IP address to jmax's servers... in which case, NuclearSilo's post has the fix (but sometimes that IP changes from like .11 to .12 I've heard).
