I'm not really sure but I had this problem before...I just exited SRO, started again, exit SRO, start again for about 5 or 6 times and than it worked. Another time i just restarted my computer, waited for like 10 min and it worked. Not sure if this is right but it just happened lol.

I had the same problem week or more ago. My SRO wasnt opened ~2months, when i tryed to launch it, there was no start butoon, so i tought - crap, dusts and worms eated launcher :D I launched it second time, no start button. Then i just spammed launcher, load and exit,if no start button. After 10-20 tryes, it worked, and works untill now :D

So thats my story, maybe this will help to someone. But the bad thing about this is, even i get SRO working, i dont have my char :D

Hopefully this will tell us if one of their routers is down. My results are below:

yes, exactly i got stuck there as well...

their router or server is down??

i submitted a bug report with hopes that it might brign to their attention this problem. if you could send in one as well with this tracert appended, might be better : /

You timed out at the same spot? silkroadonline.net and joymax.com all timeout at that point for me. As well as the client update address (121.128.133.27). Anyway, how do I submit a bug report? Lol.

Ah. Yea, I can't load the webpage at all. Did you traceroute silkroadonline.net?

Strange. I don't know, it doesn't make sense to me either. Could you try using the ping feature and post if it times out?

it timeouts, but i believe it could be configured not to respond to pings..

funny thing is...just the handful of us who are affected lol

-sighs-... Its funny, I had a feeling that I shouldn't have closed the client. Lmao. What to do, what to do...

Posted: Wed Dec 05, 2007 6:35 am

yes lol, i did the same....closed my client and then couldnt see the start button no more when opening again...

my pt+skill tic is running as of this moment and if it doesnt get resolved by this time tomorrow....

Same here... If it doesn't get resolved soon then I will have 6 hours to grind off tomorrow :x Also, I just found out that some sites don't like tracerouting (like srf). So, I guess it's kind of irrelevant...
