Now why can't Activision buy out Joymax and improve the service the game?
Discuss and what do you think?

Actually, the entire Diablo series was created by members of a side-project organisation called Blizzard North. They were actually not involved with Blizzard itself. After they completed Diablo II: LoD, Blizzard never renewed their contracts so they were out of the job.
The entire team now works for ArenaNet, which are the makers of Guild Wars. As far as I know anyway.

How is SR similar to WoW? Not including the areas all MMORPGs have in common

You do realise that 100% of the MMORPGs have skillbars, maps, character information, images and life/mana/name/level.
Guild Wars also looks similar to WoW. And in actual fact, WoW has been around less time then Guild Wars, so technically, who is copying.
I think that there is just a typical standard that each game has to reach, and Silkroad is doing it's best to reach that.

O_o.....Ya sure about that? Seems more like the very opposite to me. I've heard Blizzard has great customer service/support and Joymax has...lies and nothing lol

That must not register gold bots. How else could a game with 25 servers filled to the rims be under a 9 year old game, even if it is CS.

It shows how real company's do business. Joymax probably likes being solo because if a good company like blizzard merged with them, blizzard would say ban all bots. Joymax would decline that suggestion.

Blizzard has 4 of the 5 Best Selling Games Ever Made for PC.
Activision is only one of the most colossal gaming company with proper Customer Service and Game Management.
Both Activision and Blizzard create and maintain games for competitive play.
Joymax has a game that almost no one knows about. Other than a few MMO players, no one knows Silkroad Online.
Even among MMO players, people consider Silkroad to be shit. Ask any non-Silkroad player what they think of the game. 1 word. Shit.
Silkroad cannot be a game for competitive play. For competitive play, there must be rules that all players must adhere to in order to provide fair competition.
Simple rules that even Joymax created, that all players agreed to upon creating an account, they can't enforce.
You seriously ask why Activision wouldn't buy Joymax?
Who would buy Joymax?
If any decent software company bought Joymax, they would shut it down, and shut down the game. Its already shit, its been trashed. Joymax destroyed it, its not a reputable game worth spending time or money on.

ROFLMAO
Dude, Silkroad Online should not even be in the top 50 games.
Only reason why its in the top 10 is because few players who do play bot 24.7.
Xfire sees that person as playing 24.7
Also CS 1.6 is still considered to be one of the most popular games played. People still play this game competitively.
Notice the only game listed there that isn't played copetitively is Silkroad Online. Competitive players play their games constantly. Not shitty games like Silkroad Online. But bots do.
ROFLMAO, how dumb can you be?
I'd also like to add, the only game listed that takes ZERO SKILLS or ZERO BRAINS is Silkroad.

Q: How will this impact Blizzard's games?
A: This will not impact Blizzard's games. We remain committed to providing the same high-quality game content and support that we always have. Development on Wrath of the Lich King and StarCraft II, as well as on our unannounced games, is continuing as normal.
from Blizzard's statement on their site

they got my vote

, cept they need to change the name. Activision Blizzard sounds gay.

AFAIK some of them are actually behind Hellgate: London, hence it's similarities with the Diablo series.
Nonetheless, this thread would fit better under "Off-topic".
