As for the Account Thief exploit, for now, I consider it as we have failed. There is currently no rollback and even worst, there no news about it. If by tomorrow there still no news, I will release an explanation of how the account have been targetted and how the account name where easier to find then what a normal guy would think. This is about the FORUM exploit in the past where player account name where showing, yes... For those that are not aware, the entire database of silkroad account name and account id was public, though it wasn't a big deal since the password wasn't public. This time though, it was the opposit. The password wasn't required but till the account name is private, I mean it's 100% the user fault for not having a better account name security. Think about it, why would Joymax be responsible? Oh yes i forgot, because Joymax made your account name public on the forum update a few months ago ^^

but what it does say is joymax gave out everyones account ID a couple of months back and now with this bug they took those ID's and hacked them meaning that noone was safe, the only question I have is/was there a way to tell whos ID belonged to whos IGN so they knew who they were hacking, one of my buddies got hacked yesterday and he was lvl 80 with 5 sun items including a sun weapon, I asked him if his ID was the same as his IGN and he said no, and its not possible that he's lying since his IGN is not something that you ID would let since you cant use cap letters and symbols, so i believe that this info was all given out a multiple times by Joymax.

lol I know 99% of the people hate him, and hes a bow and one of the strongest on Alps, does that give it away? I promised him when I talked to him that I wouldnt talk more about it, but last night I was asking in union chat if anyone knew if he was ok, he pmed me later and was not ok and asked if I had seen him on, he said he couldnt get into his account. In the forums when you would quote someone, it would show their username (login). So if you saw someone you knew on the forums, then yes you could easily get their username.

That's true. but 99% of the people that use the forums post with DUMMY accounts. Not their real one.
And btw, that ID showing was a bug back in January of this year. LoL how could you get the ID of anyone in the game?
Think hard. You'll get a level 1 character posing about how he cant log in due to server traffic at best.
