People from Rev6 were getting hacked so they threatened joymax with the exploit going public just so they could have the rollback

can someone confirm if its fixed or not joymax has not said anything at all and i dont trust the word of rev6.

Ahhh! I was at 300 bottet accounts. DJ if you need gear/items let me know. I have a bunch of stuff, its all going to get NPC'd anyway.

People dont post their equips on rev6. Rev6 sniffs packets to get information about your equips. To put it simple, you could just walk past a rev6 ladder bot, and get your information taken and posted on the site.

No, they get it through packet sniffing.

If you walk past one of their bots it takes all your info automatically.

It doesn't take any info other players cannot get in some way. To make the correct glows appear on your side (client side) information from the server is sent to your computer about the + on the gear, then your computer decides what the glow is. Hence, with pk editing you can make any glow appear.

In addition, the piece (what level they are, color, gender, etc.) will be sent for obvious reasons...

Things such as your username, password, etc. would not be found by these ladder bots. They are usually in the center of town or heavily pvp-ed areas, or some players voluntarily use the ladder bot program on their personal accounts.

So is it really fixed or no?...mixed signals in this thread...

I'm still waiting for word from Joymax about the exploit being fixed...although they didn't even mention the exploit even existing...

and lol at Rev6 expecting donations for helping everyone learn how to hack accounts....

So wouldnt rev6 be illegal since they count as bots? And since when was posting information about one another without them noticing allowed? Damn if i took a naked picture of my friends and post it on the school bulletin then that would be the exact same case as this...

Is it fixed or not? I'm trying to hack one of my friends old accounts that got hacked as well as one of mine but I keep getting stuck after I get the verification e-mail, it just says Bug report after I click confirm

Rev6 got so many hits on their ads last days and they ask for donations?

From what I got, JM only stopped the 1st part of how to "hack" using the exploit by taking out the username or w/e when someone used the web tools. However, I think the 2nd part of how to "hack" is still capable of being used..so, no they didn't really do anything =/
