You all know what is happening right? Well i find it hard to believe people can find exploits in JM website to hack other players, but cannot do something against JM.

Look we need to stop begging them because we know they wont change, what we need is hackers/white hats however u call them, but people who will pwn joymax and make them realize their security is SHIT.

Also someone good at laws and stuffs liek that who would be able to sue them, becuase this time it is THEIR fault if people are getting hacked, not ours.

I think we should stop being exploited xD the game is playing most of us, we paying silk FOR NOTHIIIING throw money by window it will have same effect!


So either stop paying them or spam their forums but i think we should do something! It has to stop

imma log on gm account and screw all server until everyone is lvl 1 and delete every gold/item in the game

I think the consensus is...the intelligent people know that spamming the forums is retarded. So I guess that only leaves the former: Quit playing. But frankly...I enjoy dominatin nubs.

JM is retarded. IF spamming their forums is the only way to be heard then why not?

MEh it already happened remember roc and all we just need motivation and make a group effort

The only way to get joymax to fix the many problems is to make it harder for them to NOT FIX the problems.

Possibe ways to do that?

Lawsuit: not sure how easy that is with international law

Lower their profit: boycott will most likely not be effective without mass participation.

Any other ways to lower profit??

Embarrass them: REV6 has been most effective at that, but obviously not effective enough.

You know what real hackers were?, they were the ones who hacked gm's account and summoned rok from simply nothing ^^, now hacking ppl to stole their goods?, grow up -.-"

you guys live in US why dont you all go to the JM office cali and protest there..

Yeah... purposely hacking into their servers, especially on a large scale, will do nothing except make Joymax send their lawyers after you. Somehow I doubt any white hats would do this. Ever hear of computer ethics?

Yes, us white hats have the capability, but we don't use it to "pwn joymax and make them realize their security is SHIT"....

A better white hat approach would be to send business proposals, or similar to offer computer security services, from a well established IT security firm, to Joymax to assist them in doing a comprehensive security assessment of their systems. International law I'm sure is a bit complex. I'm not sure how it would work having, say, a US security company do vulnerability assessments on a Korean company...

"pwning them" is not the intelligent answer (as your title suggests).

Hacking them won't solve anything. Only more uproar and more negativity.

Why not blame rev6 really they show how to hack other, and really can be someone from there who hack and have that knowledge who did it. But sure the must do something about it now JOYMAX. Not the rollback but secure the accounds little more now.

its just a game, calm down. Its your fault for paying "REAL MONEY" to play a free mmorpg. Seriously, hacking into JM? You should be ashamed really. Hacking into their stuff might make them shut down sro and still run the other FREE mmorpgs that they have.

And to whoever said that the US people should protest, Get off your lazy ass and do it yourself. Dont feel like traveling? Then be quite. Plain and simple

i am with Doppleganger all the way with this. This is an idiotic topic.

Too pissed at JM? Quit sro and play another mmorpg, there are tons of free ones out there. Dont wanna quit? then be quite and wait for them to fix it. It they dont, move on. Its not the end of the world here.

Besides if alot of people stop playing sro, that might get their attention. Or it might just lead the the death of sro.

sure the 2% of people who knew this trick would use it, buts its better than 90% of people hacking other people.

...I would hack myself a GM account, and walk around with my banhammer handy, and a macro on my #1 key that types "banned for botting" after a name. Nothing works better than pissed off legits with a thirst for botter blood.
