just want to kno wat ppl did when they were newbies, and their first char.

its just for a laugh.

when i was new to the game..

my very first char was in xian and he was a str hybrid. i had masteries everywhere. i didnt grind. i was chating with ppl most of the time and they wouldnt talk back. i died so many times because i didnt kno how to use the skills. everytime my weap was about to break i would sell it and buy it again form NPC. i remeber having a hard time killn bandits at lv 22.
then i found out how to use imbue and everything. when i quit that char at lv 23, i could barely 10 hit kill a chakji.

i stopped playn and then started a char in rome. (a new server)

i can say that though my char sucked but i had alot of fun

Joined on a friend's recommendation, they taught me. I still did nooby things, like askin what imbues were, askin what repairing was, pretty much askin everything ^_^

lol i was a noob when i heard about it from a friend, lol i just got in and made a hybrid not knowing anything lol now its a level 28 and i gave it to my bro hes having fun on it and it was on Rome. Also when i first started i did not know you could scroll down in the skill menu hehe so thats my story.

at least u had a friend. ppl dont connect on silkroad as much now. too many solo.
its all about jobbing togetehr or pt.

took me over 3 weeks to get him to lv 23. i remeber havn a hard time killn manyangs. lol a joke.
i remeber using the lv1 blade till lv 11

i didnt know that i could use a imbue with a bicheon move

my first character i added about every skill and balanced mp and hp lol up to lvl 13 i think? XD
didnt know what anything really was. I was just having fun running around fighting stuff

About lvl 40 on my first char, Didnt know to use a imbue when using skills.

my first char, lol. tibet balenced mp and hp, i knew how to imbue and use skills etc etc, but i didnt know you could scroll down in the skills menu. i skilled ice fire force light bich huek, and pacheon [ i was very noob] then at 20 i wa slike hmm no more skills :/. then i scrolled down in the bich and went more skills those look cool, then i went to all th eother skills and scrolled down. then i logged out, and started googling for sro tips, and found srf. [january during that spirit power nonsense]i nvr registered. i just read made an acc [that was nvr activated] and left :/. then full of knowledge left Tibet went to Alexander and made a str fire glaive ^^.

b4 i left Tibet my stats where so fed, i didnt have any money [cause i spent it all on arrows just in case i ran outta pots :/] i pretty much suxxxxed at this game. now i can get 20 in 1 day ^^. and 30 in a week. the first time i hit 30 i think it took me 2 months, then to hit 4x that was like 5 months. then euro came and i was like **** CHINA!! [all those euro vids, and guides from ksro... + my short time in csro hyped up euro 4 me ^^] the hype was great

great sounds like u had a very good noob discovery moment

i should rename this to noob discovery moment.

The same thing happen to me when I was a noob I didn't know that you can scroll down to find new skills, and i kept asking people where they got those new skills from but they would never reply until my friend told that you have to scroll down. I felt so dumb.

im still a noob

took me 2 years to get to 40



oh, and i also put all my points evenly into everything, didn't know you could scroll down on the skills, thought ice was the most awesome thing ever, didn't know what pot's where and i had to use zerk to kill tigers at lvl 14

what is zerk?
u r pretty lucky. i was on weseals till lv 18

started on Troy, lved to lvl29 with every tree maxed hehe. found out what the 116/300 was for, (o crap), started again (on Troy) lvled to 32, ran out of sp lost interest, (learn about sp farming), took a 3 month break, finaly started again with a sos bow prepared this time farmed like 25k sp, lvled to lvl52 (this is on Persia now, character was a dual weap pure int), currently retired as I am playing around with my Euro. ^^ I for one wasn't that misguide, people were nicer back then when Xian, Troy, Athens, Greece where the only servers that existed (I think...). I have taken occasionally breaks ffrom iSRO, very refreshing, more ppl should try it.

Was on troy, was a 1:1 hybrid armor blader/fire/light/cold/force/bow character. Mostly blade.
I would talk most of the time, and I'd see a bunch of high levels fighting and I thought bladers were badasses. I remember most of the high levels were viets, and they fought below the eastern china ferry, at that roads crossing place.
Oh yeah, I remember I had no idea how to use skills, and I saw this one girl using skills (I was level 9) and I was like "OMG HOW DO YOU DO THAT???" and then she taught me. That was great, back when people were nice.
I remember I actually added skills though & raised masterys, but I never actually used the skills 'cause I didn't know how to

I didn't use pots, instead when I needed hp or mp I sat down.

I continued for a longgg time on that char, got to 54 and quit, 2 weeks later was hacked

Yup, the noob days were funnnn though.

Before I started, I read the whole website, decided what weapon I would use, read the first page of most of the forums, and when the dl finally finished I pretty much knew what I was doing. The only thing I didn't know was the scroll down for the new skills, but i found that out soon enough after seeing people PvP in jangan and asking what that skill they used was.

That's what I do for every new game. During the download I read the website and decide my build/class and get as much information as I can. I was disappointed that SRO didn't have the skills on the website though.

my first character was lynette too, in aege though.
stats were added anyhow, never knew purebuilds... hence, its quite gimped. But , learnt that mistake at lvl 20+, so added int all the way ever since.
Had alot of new frens there, and had a fren that lasted 2 years in sro now, who moved with me to athens when i was lvl 43 in aege.
in aege , we use to chat in chinese, but now, i forgot how to use chinese to type into words in sro anymroe. =(

anyway, after moving to athens with my fren, things pretty got much the same, except this time know much more about builds.
anyway, miss the community that existed last time in aege, not sure about now.... everyone changed .

my first build was during the early days of xian.

i was 1:1 cold bow. i didnt add my character points into str or int until around lvl 15. i eventually got to lvl 21 and got bored so I quit...for awhile

Hmmmmm. It was about 18 months ago. I woke up one morning, enjoying my summer break. I was gona get on DiabloII do some Baal runs tog et my hammerdin to lvl 99 finally, then maybe play some WC3 DOTA, but i found a note on my comp that said.

Yes..thats what it said....it was from my brother who was at work when i woke up. So im like hmm, ok. I went, dled it and ran around all day. Took me like 10 hours to get to lvl 10 finally I spent too much time running around. I was a hybrid int ice bowman.................................................................... ............................................ ................................................ ....................................... .............................rofl.

I made about 10 characters i all before coming here, and finding a guid on builds and i though, o cool, lets be a pure int spear nuker. I ended up a hybrid s/s nuker, but whatever. Good times. In those 18 months i got about 700mil in assests and finally my lvl 80. I thought it would take forever. I remember being lvl 20 and thinking that i would never be lvl 52 and wear those super sexy garms or anything. Proved myself wrong i guess.

when I was n noob, I also had skills everywhere, from bicheon to force mastery lol >_< but the good thing was putting all m stats to Int, atleast It wasnt a "tae"/stupid/noob build. ^_^

when i first started, one of the things that i am newb about is not knowing that there's autopots and also i am cheap. Sit most of the time when ran outh of hp or mp..............
Use to asked my bro to press pots for me while i pressed the skills fighting giants.

o ya, i didnt know about the quick slots....so i just had my skill tree open and inventory to sue pots and skills i would click them with my mouse..........

I sold my lvl 16 sos bow for 3k.

omg same thing to me!!
on my int chinese char, i was like lvl 30 something and a friend was using kd and stabbing and i was like "damn that dude has some leet skills".
Then i found out he was the same level and i asked him and he told me the name of the skill.

I pressed S, and i found out i could scroll down...........................................................................................
