Depends.
If you wanna be good against STRers and INTers, pick gamrs.
I picked up Protectors because my idea is to tank STR based chars, since I have friends with diff. builds, I decided to pick this one. Sadly, I only can take 2 nukes, then, at the 3rd one, I get raped. But like I said, I don't care about INTers. thou there's a lot of them on pacific.
Garment = good against INT n STR
Protector = Good against STR n a bit good against INT
Armor = Good against STR ^^
That's my idea, maybe I'm right or wrong.

garment cause you will get your ass raped when you wear armor and have no mp to dish out chains. another reason why you get your ass raped with armor is because you will have nearly zero magical defense and so nukers will destroy you

my ice is only lvl 31. i dun have snow or iron shield, but i use garm since 42+
just concentrate on ur gear ...

well I'm fully farmed, so I figured out this: Since my Fire n Bicheon will be Lv80 and cold/lightning Lv60, I will have a lot of extra mag. defence thx to the fire buff., so I will need extra phy. defence, that's why I picked up prots.
