I'm not 100% sure about this, however, I believe it's sites like those offer items/gold/silk for very cheap if you sign up. Whatever the level of your account, then they use it to charge silk, giving the user some and using some themselves. The user gets some silk, and is happy since he paid half price. Then the powerlevel charges back and gets the half silk money they made.

So, people lost their account...

It makes me lol...

o_rly wrote:Why would joymax ban people for chargeback on 3rd party sites? that really sounds fishy :/

You misunderstood it. People bought SILK with Money via thepowerlevel, and the goldcompany powerlevel did CHARGEBACK. So many users that bought silk via them, got banned. And Joymax is only WARNING people again, to NOT purchase silk via thepowerlevel.

@egyptology

It's not cheaper, it's more expensive. $12 for 100 silk, you pay to thepowerlevel. People that do not own a cc or paypal use it. And thepowerlevel fcked them, and did chargeback on them.

Touche.

I find it kinda funny how they wrote "powerlev**.com" on the notice as if like it's some kind of foul language. People know what site it is, right? I mean all those spammers in town everyday... damn! I dont know if joymax is dumb or just plain stupid.

If Joymax does not want people to use these sites then they should prevent them from advertising on their game. Until these sites are stopped from advertising on the game Joymax should not care about the users using them and focus more on preventing the advertisement if they actually cared about them doing so.

really that is just classic.

i mean it sucks that if you don't have access to paypal, you have to resort to shady sites. Obviously its a risk when you don't buy straight from joymax

oh well

You completelly missed my point, might be a problem on my side i have no idea how else i could have explained it to you.

Joymax tells us they are providing us service, what service? i buy silk i demand that i can at least grind without 20 misters and misses dwfda and his family killstealing me, but when another money making company decides to simply scam their clients Joymax is there to respond, we are getting scammed on daily basis by Joymax and nothing we can do besides quit.
They can be fast on banning bots no doubt Joymax should simply stop being a pussy and tell its client they dont give a **** about bots as long as you buy silk you are welcome in their game, its time for them to show some balls and tell their clients the truth

Man what a scam that is! 5 dollars worth of silk for the low low price of 6 dollars and all the info they need to either steal the acct or use it for CCF. I'm sorry anyone that falls for that deserves what they get. Saddest part is that joymax does nothing to really stop these guys or inform their customers. They have spammers in all parts of town and even in the dark cave now. And joymax does not ban them at all or at least in a timely manner.

Too lazy to read all posts. But from what I know is that plvl.com offers buying silk through their site... so there are ppl who actuallly do that isntead of buying silk from JM's site (some idiot they must've been)... and the cost is more too I think. So generally JM is losing money while they losing silk.

I honestly think that JM cannot or DONT even want to enter its own game. They do whatever possible to do deal with external issues, that includes silk, but neglect any sort of ingame activity. Conclusion .. they dont give a shit what happens ingame as long as the out-game issues are maintained =p This new chargeback thing just proved it.

Yep who got banned? Joymax talks a lot.

Besides they don't even permanently ban for chargeback, sounds like more joymax BS.
