I know this is off topic, but if anyone still has the install on there computer I would advise you to delete it as soon as you can. I was on my computer and my Avast anti virus came up and told me it found a virus, in the DarkEden installer. So I deleted it as you can see in the picture, and so should you.
darkmaster21 wrote:Yeah maybe, but why take the chance with a Trojan virus? Its DarkEden anyways...who plays that?
Why jump into hysteria over a false alarm? It's good that people are concerned with their security, but sometimes you can be just a little too paranoid.

I am not paranoid lol. It's just I don't want to risk my computer for some stupid game made by Joymax. Thats all.
And who said this a false alarm? That could have EASILY been a real virus, probably was, maybe wasn't. But the fact that my Anti Virus picked it up was enough to make that a real virus (imo). You can do whatever you want with your computer but there is actually people out there that care about theres. So thats why I posted this.

but you still had that initial intention of playing the game that's why you dled it. DO NOT DENY!
Oh yeah, I tried it as well.... uninstalled right after I created my char... I was wondering WTF is my sexy bursty vampy girl... all I see is a disney drawn art... at a very very low quality. Plus, the resolution support totally blow.

And you know what I do with my computer? I run without any form of anti-virus. I have done so for the better part of the past decade. I have never been infected.
All of the anti-virus software in the world is no substitute for a little common sense. Before you click on something, download something, whatever just take a look at it and think of the possibilities. Ask yourself why Joymax would have a reason to distribute a game with a trojan along with it. Besides Sony BMG's copy prevention bullshit, established companies tend to avoid this kind of thing.
You can do whatever you want with your computer, but don't go raising paranoia on internet message boards just because your anti-virus started bleeping.

How old are you again Cruor? Aren't you somewhere 15-20?... this makes me look extremely stupid.

Uhm...please get off my topic FireFox. kthnx. And where do you have ANY RIGHT to say that I am lying? Go create another char on a server to keep yourself busy.

thats ballsey of you, running without anti-virus software. Kasperskys caught alot of websites doing things they shouldn't and warned me about hidden files in downloads. Im not stupid but i don't have the patience to consider every move i make on the interweb and decide whether it may or may not contain something harmful and then decide where to go from their. Hats off to you cruor you never cease to amaze but i'd at least have a firewall up....
