My conclusion is, Gold is more economical for anything that is one day. On ther other hand, Silver is more economical for anything that is 4 weeks. This analyst is based on the silk item prices on Nov 19, 2007. See below for details:

1) 1 day Skill Ticket
Silver: 50% extra, 7 silk
Gold: 100% extra, 9 silk
Economics: Benefits of Gold over Silver (200/150)=1.33, Cost of Gold over Silver (9/7)=1.28
Conclusion: Gold is more economical

2) 4 weeks Skill Ticket
Silver: 50% extra, 57 silk
Gold: 100% extra, 78 silk
Economics: Benefits (200/150)=1.33, Cost (78/57)=1.37
Conclusion: Silver is more economical

3) 1 day Time Service Ticket
Silver: 50% extra, 12 silk
Gold: 100% extra, 15 silk
Economics: Benefits (200/150)=1.33, Cost (15/12)=1.25
Conclusion: Gold is more economical

4) 4 weeks Time Service Ticket
Silver: 50% extra, 95 silk
Gold: 100% extra, 130 silk
Economics: Benefits (200/150)=1.33, Cost (130/95)=1.36
Conclusion: Silver is more economical

5) Premium
Silver: 60% extra, 150 silk
Gold: 100% extra, 200 silk
Economics: Benefits (200/160)=1.25, Cost (200/150)=1.33
Conclusion: Silver is more economical

6) Silver Time Service Ticket vs Silver Premium
Time: 50% extra, 95 silk
Premium: 60% extra, 150 silk
Economics: Benefits (160/150)=1.07, Cost (150/95)=1.58
Conclusion: If you feels that the bonus def and stats worth the extra (1.58-1.07) / (1.58 )=32% cost, go for it.

Dude, there is no need to compare 1 day vs 4 week. All of the 4 week tickets are by far more economical than their 1 day counterparts. The question is are people willing to pay the higher price of the 4 week one. 8)

Some of you guys don't get it? I am comparing different tickets from gold to silver, and see which one is more economical. Like, you get back more than you paid.

hmm the way i see it. 2 silver tickets offer the same bonus as 1 gold ticket (4 weeks). So 2 silver would cost 190 silk while 1 gold is 130 silk. Wheres the economy in that?

I have always used silver premium tickets – until last week when I bought my first gold. There’s an interesting difference.

Silver ticket = no problems.

Gold ticket = getting DC’c every half an hour or so.

You can get straight back on, obviously – but that’s kinda not the point. Go silver! :D

Everyone gets tickets for leveling and sp. Just to do one side of the coin, let's look at sp...

Gold & Silver - 28 day service

Say you can normally average 500 sp/hr, so in 3 hrs with no ticket you have 1500 sp.

Gold rate - 1500 sp + 1500 sp = 3000sp.

28 x 3 = 84000sp.

Silver rate - 1500 sp + 750sp = 2250sp.

28 x 2.25 = 63000sp.

21000sp difference > having to buy another tick and/or grind more days.

Nothing beats gold. It's not a question of economics, it's more of a matter of efficiency. You get more xp/sxp for same amount of grinding. :D

In all cases, gold is more economical, your calcilations are totally wrong

i buy a pt mainly for server traffic....so it is economical for me to buy silver

if someone gets a gold ticket, they are getting it for the sp quest. Which IMO is not worth it. I mean sp quest give at most 2500sp....so maybe you can make 5k sp by the end of your ticket time (the whole 4 weeks) with the quest. :/ meh not really worth it

A more interested thing to do:

-> in game gold (for waste in power lvl) VS Tickets

Like, convert gold in game <-> price $$ in the gold bots company <-> $$$ of the silks

EXAMPLE:

Like, compare 300k = one hour of powerlvl in ongs in my server with 300k = 1/300 of 100M -> 100M buys for XX $$$$ euros -> That XX euros could get you 1/28 parts of one GOLD TICKET -> MEANS 3 HOURS WITH +100% exp, +100% sps....

Anybody have understand what I mean? doubt about that -.-''' But would be nice that one actually to the maths lol
