I bet my party can take out yarkan easy when the warrior is 72-76. RIght now with lvl 50-54 heals and buffs we can take on 8-9 party guards/soldiers with like 10+ regulars easily without even needing warrior skins or cleric bless spells. I can just heal the warrior with my weak lvl 50 heals! ...That's how we deal with int bots and KSers. Seeing that guy run around like a chicken surviving is funny.

Nevertheless, props for not dying without a cleric.

Yes, I do like to gloat about being a high level legit with actual party skills instead of showing that my gear and pots can keep me alive tanking 1 mob, even when it is yarkan.

Getting Yarkan lured, isn't as easy as it may sound =].

Not to mention that you are laughing at the fact that not every European class in their guild was able to be at Yarkan at that point in time. Did the fact that a cleric couldn't come ever dawn on you? Or was your arrogance clouding your judgement?

You don't know if they lured yarkan or he was just there, it looked to me like he just walked up to him. Obviously a cleric might not have been able to get there, that's not what I was ciriticizing. Their strategy was running when they couldn't pot and really wasn't much of a strategy, it just doesn't do a european party justice. There was no mob control when the spawns started, they were all just nuking away, or spamming 2 skills (watch the warriors's toolbar). It's the chinese mentality of powerlvled chars instead of having any of the strategies of the euros that a real party would have.

I still gave them props for surviving by simply potting and running. All you did was flame me, for expressing my opinion and mentioning an observation.

Yarkan from what i have seen doesn't spawn against the far back wall... Only in the middle of the bowl.

What else were they suppose to do?
Run around luring mobs onto walls? So that other people could then see Yarkan.

With the classes they had available they did what they could... Instead of saying you're so great, why not offer an alternative as to what they could have done?

running after your skins were gone made me laugh cuz it reminded me of my warrior, and the earth barriers were more useful than i thought they would be

OT: Around my 2nd post I realized that I read somewhere that uniques cannot be KDed or stunned, so that explained a lot to me. If the guy had 1h skills I would have switched if I was him. I put more fault in running away on the wizards, because they could have done more to help out, the guy is tanking, they could have at least used blizzard/snow wind with 80% frostbite more often, earth shock/quake for the 30% dull, a little mesh root here and there during the giant spawns (the first nuke was earth quake so I am sure at least 1 of the two, but probably both of the wiz are farmed to 80). It wouldn't be a big deal if yarkan goes for one of the wiz, they both have fear to defend themselves long enough for the warrior to pot and taunt it back. Or even better, make 1 of the wizrds tank it! At level 80, with 9-10k hp, and about 75% stacked absorption of the dmg (55-60% from physical fence goes to the warrior as dmg, another 45-50% from pain quota distributed to both the warrior and the other wizard, even the wizard can tank yarkan, plus, they could easily alternate the tanking positions using the warrior's protect, and his screens to help the two wizards tank instead of him for 1 minute at a time. Or let 1 wiz use aoe during the giant spawns and put screens on them so they can be the ones tanking the giant mages with little or no problem at all.

These are all strategies that should have been ironed out during party grinding, so there was MUCH more they could have done. Just because you can't think of strategies that would have improved the quality of that video/party doesn't mean there aren't any.

And to answer that earth barrier question, it's 42% at level 80 when it updates to earth fence.
