ok i see many people complain here about farming when in fact you dont have to how ?

choose 2 mastery til 80 i done this on all my alts i pick light and the weapon they use most likely as my main 2 mastery that is all keep gap at 2 and note you can close it for 4 maybe 6 lvls out of 10 depends how you spend your points

the highest character i have with this is 42 and no sp problems at all i have all my skills both mastery at max atm so good stuff

what i meant by knowing how to spend your points is only put points on stuff you will use like on ice for example dont get ice wall you wont ever use that a bunch of people max it dont have 2 imblue when you will be using just one 95% of the time wait til 80 to get creative

and if you want to lvl crazy fast go full int light/fire and use spear you wont be able to pvp tho .............. but when you get to 80 you can pick up any weapon mastery you want in no time sword or spear w/e makes you happy for the most part =P

Are you an idiot? sorry for being so combative, but seriousley. its at lvl 55~60 when the sp problem really kicks in. And as you are so well informed, bring me your level 80 (when and if) with 2 masterys and i'll one hit you at cap.

at lvl 80 you farm great one o.O

btw my main is lvl 71 with 0 gap and makes the sp for new skills with no problem 0 gpa since 67 and plenty points i just dont waste them ... all my skills are max and i didnt have to farm for them all i got them as i lvl with my 0 gap

theres another way to not have to farm, just all the way to 80 with 9 gap...

Two masteries? For the full way? I don't think so...

Remember you need buffs, big time. And going without buffs are suicide... this is a very stupid idea.

Leveling with a 9 gap takes a very long time, but you still get good Sp.

Farming at 16 ensures you a full ride to 80 if you farmed well.

And any other farming is good too.

But not with just two masteries... why not just jump in front of Yarkan and kill yourself?

i think he means the fastest way to level, grab only necessary skills and let 2 mastery lag 2 lvl behind char lvl

dun think he is talking abt pvp, jobbing

Yes, but I think it's still not enough Sp for you to use when you come to level80. Maybe you can try

Unless you keep a like a 5 level gap, its pretty hard to have enough sp all the time.

The age old question to farm or not to farm.

I think it is really a personal preference, some want to be the best as they go so they farm early, some like me didnt learn the game till I was already in my 30's so I farmed at 52. Farming really sucks, but lvling uberly slow with a 5 gap or higher sucks just as much. Its what you want to do and what you are capable of doing.

personally i see nothing wrong with a 2 mastery build. my bow char was light and bow only with 1 gap, it works pretty well and i wasn't *that* weak in pvp (still owning pure int, hehe). for those who say u cant pvp well unless u have 3 masteries: what would u do if the cap is really 140? would u still have 3 masteries? (1 at lvl20? <-- useless)

besides, in terms of pure lvling speed to from 0-80 (doesn't matter what u do after 80... u can farm all u want), 2 masteries with 1 or 2 gap is the fastest overall.

In the end joymax planned 2 masteries for a char. 150 cap and mastery lvl 300, so pls dont tell him it is stupid because 2 masteries is the way it supposed to be in the end.

For example:
Glavie + fire can do pretty good against lord yarkan and I bet he can do some decent pvp. The only really good thing about having light as an extra is the speed buff.

But yeah you guys want to have 3 masteries and in the end you all gonna delevel a lot

this is just to lvl this build is pretty much no buffs outsite the mag increase one you will be lvling about 3 skills ( nukes combo etc shout hmm the less the better but this will be max) for each tree + mastery easy to do with 2 lvl gap wish isnt bad and no fing s*** you will kill every1 in game wihtout farming lol but you will get to 80 without having to farm 2 gap isnt so bad and you can close it from time to time

YOU DO THIS TO LVL FAST IF YOU WANT TO PVP AND BE YOUR SERVER TOP CHARACTER PREPARE YOURSELF FOR A NICE COUPLE OF MONTHS FARMING COUSE THAT IS WHAT IT TAKES LOL LOL LOL duh

btw something to keep in mind lvl 90 is coming out soon so dont kill yourself trying to be good at pvp now save money for 9d stuff why couse lvl 80 cap is old news any sun you have now is worthless against 9d stuff we will see new people as top dogs

Because the people with 8d sun won't sell it and buy the 9d sun drops?

haha, that's why I 1st thou about sp instead be high Lv. It took me 2 months to gather near half million of sp, but the wait worthed it. Now I'm Lv64 and I feel happy to don't have sp issues. Cheers!

your right that you dont have to farm. You dont, but your character will suck. Thats why everybody farms.

If you don't farm you won't be able to kill people your level, It's always best to farm and stay strong for your level imo.

My first char is un-farmed and I didn't make the same mistake second time round, just be patient and watch the sp roll in.

The only buff i have is speed piercing force and grass walk lol. It suks big time. So i suggest if you do the 0 gap, atleast get a Gold Sp ticket from mall,

If you want to level fast, you can just use my build.

One tree. Just fire, level bow to 14 and use that to get to 30. Be pure int (no str at all). If you want, leave a 9 gap and get 14K.

Get to 30, then level only fire (imbue, nukes) and that is all. Keep doing this.

Level lightning, ice, and spear to 30.

Continue leveling fire until whatever level you want.

I got a character up to 64 like this. Since I have some good weapons for that level and gear too, I've started to farm.

Now, try to pvp with any other lvl 80... And you will be: "WTF? you have full sosun omfg die"

If a chinese goes all the way to lvl 80 with 2 mastery (for example, full str with fire/bicheon or whatever) then he would be raped like a dog.

For europeans, of course, is diferent.... 2 mastery is more than enough, even 1 is enough

Lighting tree doesn't add major advantage to str chars.

Tell me why the first build will suck that much more in PvP than the second build:

1st: Str glaive + Fire
2nd: Str Glaive + Fire + Light

They will do about the same in PvP but the 2nd build will cost you like 95.000 sp more.

BTW: You can farm 500.000 sp at lvl 16 and be fullfarmed at 80, without decent gear you will still get pwnd by everyone !!!!!!

no offence to you akuji^, you have some good points, but this isn't "the end" this is 80 cap, and 2 masteries my friend, won't do the trick..no matter how much you twist it. about the gear thing, you're right..but at level 80 one of the main things you focus on is pimping your gear, anyone who just sits around with bad gear all day at level 80 is simply, a fool. >.>

and you'd have to be kidding to think lightning tree has no advantages for str characters..

It does add some advantages, but nothing major like lighting does the int characters. Just like fire doesn't add any major advantages to an int char.

Pure int SS with Light and protector set will not miss fire, the only thing fire adds are a few nukes but we all know the lighting nukes are stronger( not sure).

Offcourse I also gave my pure str glaive the lighting tree, because it farms a lot better with the speed buff on.

But if you really are planning on playing till the higher lvl caps, it will save you a lot of time and money if you are planning you character to have 2 trees from the beginning. I wonder if people really are going to get all there 3 masteries up to 90 when the cap raises.

Offcourse I know you will be better with 3 masteries ^^ I am not stupid, but I am just saying that in some cases 2 masteries can stand against good PvP.

Character with 2 masteries with good gear and weapon owns a character with 3 masteries with average gear and avarage weapon. In babel you will always lose job wear if you dont have som, sun or 72+7 or something because there are so many people with leet weapons. So you see gear is more important than that 1 extra tree.

lol I guess I'm just not the type to have 2 masteries and waiting for the cap to raise to level 150, but w/e not my build

Limiting yourself to two masters with the least amount of gap is ideal for most European builds. But to do this on a Chinese build? Don't even think about it.

Buy a sp ticket, problem solved.

Also any build without light will get owned so hard in pvp. No phantom + no moving speed = sitting duck. Have fun trying to kill someone when they teleport away from you and kill you from a far.
