I'm kinda confuse what really is respect in SRO.

I'm one of the sun users in server. not fully suns sets but have sun spear. i've been hunting uniques all the time since i got my spear at lvl67 so, already got quite many unique kills. most poeple know me because of my unique kills and weapon i'm using.

sometimes when i'm pvp, i recieve pms about saying 'Hi" or "Lets hunt unique" or w/e, from people i don't know. when i loggin with my lvl28 character, go to the person who pm me early and talk to them, they don't even bother to reply. even i told them who i am but they just "lol" and call me noob. just because i'm low lvl and using crappy stuff?

40% of ppl in know in game, who call themself "friends" are not gonna exist as "friends" if i'm low lvl and using crappy stuff.

so, what really is respect in sro? i know its really hard to find a real friend in sro but hey, i've met many great ppl.

It's not respect, they're looking for people to warm up to.

for me is reputation


for 99% of people is lvl/sosun itens/gold/etc...

If it's are a botter which has full sun gear wont have my respect at all
If it's a high lvl 80 kill tiger girl lvl 20 in 2 hits (ks for fun, to show the name in the screen, not because he never see uniques or never kill uniques) wont have my respect either.

Yeah, I REALLY don't get those high level idiots (60+) kiling Uri and TG , I know that I won't have any reason to do it,even now I don't have reason to go for TG..although I never killed her.

Bleh... I don't have that problem when I login to my noobie characters. Most people will still treat me fairly well especially if they know I'm nyahgis. I've got no sun btw...

good points-> im 74 and friend with peoples that i have known since low level ..i dont need new "low level" friends who wanna exploit "give me money" "can power level me" ..just peace ppls just wanna being friend of famous guy..its natural..everyone of us wanna being a friend with famous girls in real life wakakaka

well guess you got the wrong friends.
Respect has nothing to do with your gear, its the way you act that should give you any credit. anyone can be 80 fully farmed (since its not so hard with Joymax bot bans) and buy gold to get full sosun its the player behind that char that always will matter.
you can be legit and still act like an idiot totally does not deserve any respect either.

If someone is being a jerk, I won't respect him even if I'm going blind from all his suns

the other day i was out at dw east talking to my buddy(im 64 and the highest of all them are 49) and some noob rolls around and starts talking.. He ignores her/him and i start ignoring him and talk to her.. anyways shee never had a character over lv 24 because she didnt have time so i told her about academys what they do and shes gonna join mine. but i mean why ignore noobs? you were once one also.

Isy. and LY.......why because when i was low lvl. about 30+ i camp TG. and what do u think happen?....yeah i got KS 99% of the times by high lvls...so imo every high lvl. should have the same right to kill any unique they want cuz at want point they probably try to kill TG but they couldn't cuz they got KS....a lvl. 80 killing TG is fine with me.

yea but if you stopped thinking like that and went for isy or yarkan if you wanted.. there would be chance for the low lvls to kill tg and uru.

I don't care if you got sun or npc gear, nor do I care if you get 5 unique kills a day, or if you win 95% of your pvps. None of those warrant any respect whatsoever.

So now you ks low lvls like the high lvls ksed you? That's stupid. If i ever go for TG, Cerb and Uru, it will be to kill them 1 time, after that there would be no point to do it. Let the newbies have their fun, it's more fun for them than it would be for me to just nuke it 5 times and kill it.

They treat people with respect, does not act like an idiot and call everyone noob for no reason, does not kill opposing jobs that are not their degree, does not bot/cheat/scam/etc. Now here is why I would not respect you. I don't know how you got that sun weapon. Most of the time a sun weapon is illegally obtained or if it was given by a friend, they were the ones that obtained it illegally.

That's it, simple, right? Now how many of you qualify for my respect? I thought so.

Because sun weapons are created solely through illegal acts? They are DROPPED legally, so it obviously starts somewhere. It shouldn't be hard to believe that "legits" have dropped sun.

As for who deserves your respect... apparently damn near nobody and perhaps not even yourself. Looking through your general post history I don't see much respect flowing from yourself, you flame occasionally, called somebody who wasn't fully informed a noob, and I doubt you have NEVER killed an opposing jobber in a degree that wasn't your own. If you thief, you have probably killed lower tiered traders, and if you are a hunter, you have probably protected your trade from lower tiered thieves. Perhaps you are a trader, just riding your ox from one town to another.

SO because you think someone has a SUN it was obtained illegalily, were do you think SUN come from then, when I got my SUN glavie drop everyone said I stole it or bought it, because I was lucky and got a SUN drop that was the weapon that I was using, and just because at lvl 68 I got a SUN chest garment drop and then at 72 my rabbit picked up a SUN wristlet garment drop that must have been from a full bot that was at the niya guards, then I finally saved onough and bought SUN legs, and because I had that type of SUN everyone accused me of stealing them for buying gold to get them, too may people first accuse people of cheating before they know the facts, I dont have gold bots picking up drops and SUN for me and I dont buy gold, but try to tell someone that.

i rly rly HATE when i send a pm or something to someone 70+ and they just ignore me because im not over lvl 60 like they're the best

Strongly dissagree with anyone who claim botters cant be respected, i know a lot nice people who bot who just cant understand that you can and will enjoy the game more when you are legit but i know even more totally idiotic legits.

I say respect is earned based on what you've done in the game. The more positive you've done, the more you are respected. Basically a reflection of the time you've invested.

The old school sro players(60 cap) have all my respect.Most of them quit...
In those days sro was the best game and tavern was the place to find out all about sro and shit.I miss those days..

I look further than the pixels showing up on my screen, most botters i know are far more kind and respectful people
I do agree that botting isnt doing anything good for this game, but i rather have a botter that acts normal than a legit that acts like an idiot to other players.
