i don't think that there will be sosun or som 8th D now
i mean may be later
but not now
the sos drop rate is still the same for the 8th D for both races
chinese and euro
but there is no any drop rate for som or sun items 8th D now

Consider the fact that a wiz can 1 hit anyone their own level, especially so at the cap. SoX is just overkill.
Watch out for 8d SoX daggers, as that'll make rogues 1 hit anyone their level, even without crit.
