im not sure if i should do it or not. right now i'm fire spear light 80 cold 60. im thinking of delvling fire to 60 then switching to garms and upping cold to 80. any input?

Id go for it. If im not mistaken the last light nuke does more damage than the last fire nuke, and if you are pure int spear you could use the extra phy def if you are goin garms =)

nah im not pure im hybrid. but i always get raped by glaives so i figure the cold defence will help me out. and if i trade my prot set for a garm set thats as good as it then i'll have good mag defence too.

my only problems are 1. getting garms and 2. delvling fire
itll take 158 skill potions to get it to 0 lol
and an assload of gold

im having this dilema right now aswell though i rather make that decision now that im 69, rather when im 80, ill have to spend less silks/gold now than at 80 , but im not sure what to do :S im also a bit hybrid but s/s...
anyone know what they´re doing at ksro? since they have the 100 cap already and tested out the masterys at that level ...

lol i'd only have 60 force at the most. but its too much sp and i'd rather have 60 fire. at 90 id only be doing 30 of force anyway.

lmao, i was gonna do this with my nuker, delevel fire to 60, up ice and bicheon to 80 and switch to garms, but right now, at this cap, i think having fire, ice and bicheon (heuskal in ur case) at 80, and doing light to 60, you dont lose much in light from 60-80...but than when 90 cap comes, you need to switch back to weapon ice and light to 90 and fire 30, thats a lot of curse hearts and gold to do that....so i am still not sure wut to do with my nuker right now

As was recommended by people to me on the forums here and in game are to go light/wep/cold 80 and fire 60. I am also hybrid int spear level 80. Mag 101% and phy 71%. Level 80 cold is good because a ) 50% mana shield and b) Phy defence. Make sure your gear is pimped with INT/STR 5 and you should be just fine

BTW I use protector.

i see why they delvl it for the cold def but then you left with just light nukes and the fire nukes are stills tronger than the second book of light
2 nukes arent enough IMO

lol, a hybrid spear should only use a nuke and then use his weapon skills. A nuker that only nukes will never kill anything

The new lightning nuke is quite strong.
And by the way, please dont give your opinion if you are not educated.

do like me forget your nuker and make a pure str alot less headaches XD.
cus right now with impending 90 cap thinking about my ints masteries makes me want to cry lol. I like being immune to stuff I want my fire wah. Bicheon and light are my main masteries so they're no contest. Im gonna be the only int with 30 ice and a nubsy snow shield just cus im too dam cheap to delvl all that fire

Hybrid armor n s/s ftw lol. Sigh so yeh str builds ftw, alot less headaches.
WEP FIRE LIGHT minute ice yay case closed

I think Proctector is a must still.
Ice will help u bunch. But Garment + Snow Shield is still less than Proctector alone.
You have Spear fanning series for mag protections, thus Garment is not necessary imo.
Go Prot and get Ice to max.
But then again, if you had Ice 60 Fire 80 and you just wanna swap it to Fire 60: Ice 80. It wouldn't make much a difference.
Swapping from Protector to Garment however will make you die alot more

please explain why a int (even hybrid) would go garment?

lots of mag defence. ill be maxing the cold buff so i'll have a lot of phys defence from that, plus having more hp than most ints, plus i'll have mana shield. and i have snake storm so that adds more int defence.
my main reason for going to garm is that ill be delvling fire a lot so i'll lose the defence buff. me in prot without fire protection means im gonna get smoked by ints. so the garm will balance that out. and the cold buff will balance out with the str (hopefully)
i'll have to see how it goes

The only reason I can think is if they are farming at mage. The garments are good because mage are magic, therefore you will use less pots.

im fully farmed but i plan on going to mages to get the hearts to switch fire and cold.

i'd say go for it ice would help out alot, if you cant de level fire with the item mall skill potions, it should take about a month to a month and a half with lots of grinding, i de leveled my blade from 76 like that, took around a month
