Why
-Idk, fun
-Because I said so

Rules
-No speed pots
-Character is nekked lvl 1 (Don't cheat, no accessories, no lvl80 nakeds)
-No scrolls of any kind
-No horses/rudolphs (because you are 1, you can't use one anyways)
-No receiving buffs from clerics, bards, etc
-No Zummm, Bleach_UAE, PomPomTheIce, and other dickheads allowed (O I will add to the list )

-10 million gold

5mil would be a good prize. you may even attract people who aren't in xian...5mil is good cash to start a new char in a new server

I seriously doubt someone would actually use the bot for the race, lol.

Well, if the bot program became (in some way) broken, they would soon follow every masked player in the entire server... wouldn't that be a kick...

Then you can lead every botter on the server into some 80 mobs...

They will invent a new bot, the race bot

how exactly will it work? who would check to see how exactly this wold proceed? one playr can lag behind, ride a horse to a different longer direction then un-summon the horse at meeting point.

just a suggestion, make it a level 10 horse race, then require a little "bring me" element in the game, say announce, jsut before the race starts to give a level 1 lucky powder to a yet to be announced player waiting at finish line. that way, ties will be avoided, whoever trades the secret item first, should be a clearer winner rather than just declare it at finish line.

and i doubt anyone would participate unless its a 5mill+ prize or something.

Exchange idea is good. As for cheating, I will start the race at west gate jangan and that way there is only one way to go that is the fastest way and I can run along with the person in the lead.

Hehe. I figured that will attract some people. I just wanted to give this gold out with a competition. I've given out 10m on Xian a couple of times with questions such as what is the square root of Firsnazzle Difornazzle.

I like being nice. I have walked a low level across Donwhang (west china w/e) because he didnt have pots and didn't want to die. Then I gave him gold to afford pots/gear/etc.

Lol we did this as a union event. only we went Const to jangan., Even more fun we all used the wolf man player model and set up 2H warrior with names like afasdf and xcvzlkj. We then went on a mobbing and ksing fest through tak and all the way to jang. Man we got some good loks from people going wtfux? Stupid gold bots.

making it a horse race gives noobs a chance to pwn high levels, gives them a more sense of satisfaction, your prime sales pitch will be: "grab this rare chance to pwn (strongest char in union/server) in this epic race!" lol! "GL, change my grant name to 'dhorswsprr' pls!"
