Is a SoS equivalent to a +5 or a +7 generally people say +5 but after reading a guide from a website it states that SoS is +7.

I have also compared a +5 with SoS and SoS seems to be stronger

well its hard to say... lets say we have a lvl 64 sos sword, and a lvl 64 +5 sword.. The sos sword has 50% dmg, and the+5 has only 20%, then the sos ofc will be stronger..

Idk if you thought about this but this might be the answer ^___^

You can compare, but it's not exactly the same. It's not only damage that increases, but also critical, block, reinforcement, parry/attack rating, and other related stuff depending on the item.

Get to compare a normal weapon +X and a SoS, and you'll see the difference is very notable. Even if the SoS may have lower damage, the boost on other status are something to be considered.

erm.. 64 sos and 64+5. if both their phy,mag atk is 0%.. they are the same.. The only difference is the reinforce. 64 sos has the reinforce of a 69 weapon whereas 64+5 have the reinforce of a 64. so 64 sos is stronger.. same goes for som, sun.. hope that clear things up
