I Want to Party!

Since there's so much power-leveling going on nowadays, it can be pretty hard to find a party to grind in. Or partying up with incompetent players can be a real pain. So, having a listing of who wants to party can make life much easier in gaining those precious levels you all desire so much. Or, to know who is competent enough to actually party, since you got clerics who don't heal, warriors who don't tank, so on and so forth.

PLEASE PM ME WITH YOUR PARTY INFORMATION (NAME, LEVEL, AND CLASS) AND SERVER TO JOIN THE LIST.

I'll be adding servers as people give me information on those who would want to be apart of the listing of "I Want to Party!"

This is a good idea. There needs to be a stickied thread where you can list:

In game name:
lvl:
mob you want to grind on:
Standerdized playing time:

That way people can link up through this forum.
Maybe something set up like the damage contest. Only more complex :X Is it possible?

You can do that, but it'll become pretty complicated due to the amount of servers there are. And a lot of work for the creator.

Someone would have to program a web page.
You would first have to join this forum.
Then you would fill out a form

Ex form
server
lvl
time online
quest/mob
character build

The form would be made of drop down windows. To keep everything uniform.

Based on the form it would automatically
put you in a list for your server and mob.

There would have to be some kind of safeguards to keep your ign and email secret to help prevent account steeling.(is this even true anymore, I hear they changed the whole password thing)

Anyway it could work really nice but i dont know how to do it

What about limiting the threads to one server?

i.e. Party thread - Olympus
Party thread - Alexander
Party thread - Mercury

Zing, great job on the idea though, hopefully more people will assist. It would be a lot of work to do this.

Time zones will make it impossible.
Language difference will make it hard at some times.

Can't make a party in real time in the game, forget the way of making party on forums LOL

Want to party play: I recommend you to find a good guild

or start to make friends.

This is an English forum, so I doubt people will have language problems. Time can be a problem, but nonetheless it is still going to help those who want to party.

That is why we would use a universal time zone like the one that joymax uses.

This is not for making party dates. More like a list of names to pm ingame, or names of people to look for in the party match.

Want to party play: I recommend you to find a good guild or start to make friends.
This is just another way to make friends, maybe even find a good guild

I am 46 xbow looking good party on odin.
I've been solo since level1 up til 46.
I am avoid share pt because i am scare of slacker.

But for one, i would like to see if share pt gain anymore exp than soloing.

just curious if anyone has seen more party requests than normal - I've been out grinding with my guildmates and getting plvl'd occasionally.

This is not a bad idea here. We definitely need more good parties. Every party I ever join ends up not working out. Either the members don't know how to work together, or they have it configured wrong (e.g., party leader is a nuker who sets it to exp auto share/item distribution). Item distribution sucks in an auto-share party. Greedy nukers get all the drops.

I don't see any Venice names yet, but I can join this. I might not always be looking to pt grind, as sometimes my wife and I just go out ourselves to grind in a distro party, but I may be up for a party grind sometimes.

I'm a pure str chinese blader, lvl 51, grinding on either mujigis/ujigis or penons, and occasionally blue/white face spiders.

Yes I need this as well!!

Gwendolynn lvl 45 cleric. Currently on Bunwangs.

I am almost always on in the eveing every day except for Wednesday and some Friday and Saturady nights (a girl has got to go out 'o) ).

Just come to the bunwang field and when you soo some noob always dieing, then that would be me.

Well, last night I ended up with a mix of guildmates and a couple of people I just met - finished up with:

-lvl 26 wiz throwing spells
-lvl 29 cleric (me) throwing heals/buffs
-two tanks (one lvl 30 dual-axe, one lvl 28 s/s warrior/cleric)

Went up about 25% grinding on champ/party kokorus/peritons. We were able to take down a giant party kokoru just before server inspection. I was thrilled we didn't get KS'd.

All in all, it was a lot of fun and I can see the party system works pretty well when done properly. Plus, we didn't have to rely on Chinese plvl'ers
