Can weapons disapper when doing alchemy ?

If your are trying to get a spear lvl 72 +7 without any kind of astral or immortal or steady...
Is it possible that the weapon can disapper, when echantment fails ?
Dont it just break like 99 dura decreased .. ?

yes it can be destroyed hence gone.

yes as in bye bye/gone/dissapeared/destroyed.. ^^ you can prevent that by putting astrals on it.

actually immortal prevents a weapon from breaking

Your item can disappear totally, or get the evil red stat saying XX% durability reduce
Immortal will prevent your item from disappearing
Steady will prevent the durability reduce
