well the only "secret" is that each item has a hidden luck stat. idk where the topic is but someone posted a SS from the main page's alchemy section stating that every item has different luck. that is about it.

i fell for a "trick" once, my friend said that if you go to an area in the game, where there is little lag, go up to the wall to where it looks like your char is in the wall, and then zoom in all the way the better Frame rate increases the chance. I KNOW IT SOUNDS STUPID BUT...

i went from +3 all the way to +7 with out failure... never worked again^^
