This is a prelimiary news. The detail has not be announced yet. This system is to prevent children from addicting to online computer game (cSRO in this case). This is a policy implemented by SM in reponse to the new legislation of the Chinese government. By the 13 July 2007, it will be intergated into CSRO.
For non-adult users (junior account), they can play the game for three hours continuously without penality. Then, they in-game reward such as exp, sp, money and item drop will be half between 3 to 5 hours of continous game-play. Player will not receive any reward after 5 hours game play, but you can still stalling or chatting normally. The system will be reset if the player logout of the game for 5 hours. The accumlated play time of all character in the same account will be consider as one single account. Therefore, you cannot fool the system by using different character in the same account (but you can have different account, by the way....). After the 13th of July, if you want to register a new account, you may need an legal identification document (this is an unofficial news, but it has been implement in other online games in China).
If you want to apply for an adult account, you need any legal identification document (For us, foreigner, passport, driving licenence may be used.) with you name which is the same as that you used to register your account and with the same day of birth. You have to make sure that you are older than 18 as indicated by your day of birth on the legal document. Then, you may have to fax or send a photocopy verison of the document to SM, the game company in China (not Joymax). Then your account will be converted into an adult account once your id is verified. If you cannot provide your id before certain day (has not been announced yet), your account will be considered as junior account and you will not get any in-game award after 5 hours of game play.
this can "defeat" bots...but it should be even for adults, not more than3-5hours for day(i copy it from section with other kinds of sro)
personally i find a great idea...
night sleeping now xD lol

its perfect.
all you need is 3 -5 hours a day and your good [3 to grind, and 2 to chill]
and why is it a fail.
no disrespect, but that realy does sound kinda distressing, as if theres a reason you want 2 play more than 4 hours... not that im implying anything..
just saying khnamean??
um this is great for players who just want 2 play.
this is bad for botters
legits>botters imo.
therfore saying fail raises some question.
you get it??
sheep

they will nvr get it.
dont ask.
dont tell.
right?
like teh american military

legits got a life, they got school or work, so when they can play for multiple hours why implement some stupid program that will be cracked by bots in 2 weeks anyways?

If you're getting so addicted to THIS game to the point you actually play it over 4 hours a day then you are retarded.

csro was a wasteland before this, and was even worse afterwards.
it got to the point where there was no point in even playing because you'd get 0% exp and sp, it was terrible.
pretty depressing seeing your exp bar turn grey.

Children shouldn't be playing games that much anyway. When you're of age, sabotage your life however you wish, but children should at least have a chance at one.
Bots would just use adult accounts :p

imo its actually a good system for the kids, no one would want their kid playing 5+ hours on a game a day -.-
It would only suk for the hardcore nerdy gamers but overall its good for everyone else =)

yeah where r the adults if there is 2 adults and they cant regulate the time they spend on the net then maybe that kid should stick 2 sro if he starts 2 the bright side is its better 2 be addicted 2 a game then a drug

It would suck for kids and bots, but it doesnt mean they cant play.. It just means they cant LEVEL which is good cause most the game's serious assholery (I made that word up) is done by kids anyways.

The people who said it sucks are probably botters.
I don't play anymore, So I don't care if this system gets implemented or not.

gotta appreciate the Chinese Gov't sometimes at least they thinking of the ppls welfare. I also think it makes sense. 3 hours for lvling if you have a GT then go do some jobbing and PvP still your bored. Its not like after my 3 hour grind i've ever said "i can't to get back to lvling" I think that if this was implemented on ISRO you'd see alot more actual ppl participating in the game instead of just botting or pw-lvling as fast as they can so they can get to 80 and make a quitting thread
