i think server inspections are taking much to long just do 1 little thing. like 1 hour a week is good but 3~5 hours i dont think so

wait patiently...it happens once a week
its not all that bad

You don´t know what they do.. Might need that time

but its not just that one time like they always have extra server inspections like yestoday for pacific

I'm not complaining.
Last time they finished their inspection early, they screwed up and we needed 2 or 3 more. -.-
So let them take the time they need and finish on the scheduled time or later, as long as they don't screw up again.

but it doesn't matter if they went for 5 hours they will still do more in the week

Well considering they have such a small staff (since they don't want to pay lots of people ^^), fixing like 20 servers takes time

Try to optimize an sql database as big as few TB and then copy them to a backup server in an hour

dude with so many servers be thankfull they do it in 3-4 hours. they could do only one server an hour, but they do more, which would take over a day to do. Inspection time is by far the least thing you should complain about in sro lol

i wud wait a weeks inspection time if they promised to get rid of all bots

lol i am sure they just press restart button to restart servers for little inspections, and if they screw up they most probably call for professional programmers to fix the problem and whispering them to not bot bypass or GameGuard ( lool if you start up look at GG logo at the bottom theres like "Hacking preventing system" )

ur right, all week long they're too busy counting money and trying to defend for th bots. So they need 3 hrs to themselves to satisfy themselves to make up those busy hours... have some sympathy for them... they are human too.... urges can't be hold in too long.

Reset button + no backups = all database lost forever
If the main database gets corrupted all character data can be lost.
Would mean the end of the game and most likely a big lost for the company.
If you remember rollbacks = restoring old backed out database

lol hey I was joking about it -.- and they make restarts for the server they just back it up doh its logical. And i am sure they have db-s somewhere separately from previous inspections. And oh heres the picture :p

GG had to be taken off since not compatible with vista.
The screen is just displayed and stored in pk2 file can be changed to anything.

Ksro got gg replaced by k-defense.
