MMOSITE.COM: To start, would you care to introduce yourself? What s your role in Joymax Entertainment? And what s your gaming background?

JoyMax: The International, Global, or Joymax Moderation Team as some have come to know us by is a group of fellow Silkroad Online gamers. We are a team of Game Masters (GM¡¯s), Forum Moderators, Customer Service personnel, and technical experts in regards to SRO and online gaming. We moderate the forum, monitor the servers and push for new ideas and solutions based off of player feedback. We all play a wide variety of games and have been since the days of Atari to the generation of Arcade mania. PC games are by far one of our most enjoyable systems with a wide range of gaming from our favorite Genre being MMORPG¡¯s like Silkroad Online to classic shooters like Counter Strike. We all love and play MMORPG¡¯s with Silkroad Online being our current and most valued of games and gaming communities.

MMOSITE.COM: The last update of SRO happened several months ago. When will the next update arrive? When will the highly anticipated gambling system and guild quests come out? Is there a new expansion on your schedule?

JoyMax: We have been working on the new expansion called Legend I, Europe due to arrive on July 24, 2007. The expansion includes a new selectable race, maps, skills, weapons, armor and much more. Many new systems have been added to this expansion such as the Guardian system for new and older users and the Triangular Conflict 2 upgrade. The gambling system is something that will not be added because of legal issues as this is an international game. Guild quests are projected for future updates along side of other player content developments. Legend I, Europe is the next big expansion anticipated and users have been given a tease of this on the main site

MMOSITE.COM: Has there been any thought into creating mini games for the users to pass time and calm down while playing?

JoyMax: We are constantly thinking of ways to make the game more exciting, and ideas for mini games have been brought up and taken into consideration. The actual development as of this moment is solely gathering information based on customer feedback from the forum and in game.

MMOSITE.COM: As a famous MMO game, do you plan to enhance this feature by adding some special systems, like the instancing system in WOW, or a guilds war system?

JoyMax: Instead of following the same path as other MMOs, we will always try to stand out of the crowd and improve on our uniqueness. SRO is famous for the Triangular Conflict system where users trade goods with Merchants and Hunters while Thieves try to take it away. Triangular Conflict 2 is an update to the current system. In this upgrade users can focus more on the role-playing element and party playing as well as greater improvements to the trading giving it more depth. Future installments will be more focused on enhancing this type of game play as well as other diverse scenarios which our users eagerly anticipate to play.

MMOSITE.COM: Also, as we know the iSRO SA (Silk Assistant) program has been disbanned. Is there a plan in the near future to bring back this system? If so, will there be any changes to the system, and how will it help in iSRO?

JoyMax: The SA s (Silk Assistants) have always been considered. SA was available in the past, but the end result was not what we expected. In turn, we discontinued the SA, but we are considering bringing it back. SA¡¯s help new players out, report any bugs within the game, and make suggestions from the player¡¯s point of view. This volunteer based program aides us in monitoring every server 24/7 to ensure the consumer is satisfied with the gaming community. We do not have a SA program running at the moment but we may bring the idea back.

I'm sorry if it's already posted :)

*BAM* problem solved

OT: Yeah, the interview is fairly old, and I'm hoping that they'll do another one soon. mmosite and JM seem to collaborate a bit more these days [cough, image competition with sun prices? O.o], and thus I'm hoping that they'll squeeze another interview out soon. It really be nice to have some more info on future updates.

I think other updates would be better than lvl 90.

So many people seem to complain about the extremely long time it takes to grind... yet so many people bot, or power level to RUSH to cap, only to get bored and chant "raise the cap, rah rah rah!!". Instead of rushing to cap and wanting cap raises all the time, maybe you should try going for other parts of the game. Push to get updates like castle seige, instances, more dungeons, or whatever. Other things to do in the game.

Why does this game have to be a plvl/bot rush to cap, just to beg for a cap raise?

Does seem old..but I seriously LOL'd at the Silk assistant thing. "the end result was not what we expected"

Well thats what happens when you don't put any effort in recruiting the Silk Assistants and 3/4s of them were the botters that you were supposed to be trying to catch.

Also I would love to see them reduce the grind in the game. I don't knw about you guys but my motivation to level just dies when I get less than .01% per kill on gold time on a 0 gap. Kinda seems unnecessary...
