theif-hunter wars suck now

its lame when you start a little thief and hunter war by a city when 8 people show up, all in the same job (usually thief), all with sun weapons, and probably a few sun armor pieces.
why is it that all the sun users on babel are theives? theres 3 people with sun weapons that i know of that arent thieves.
so after deciding how weak this was, i went to google images to see if i could find a picture to help describe how sub-par our wars are.

and dont even let me get started on mercs -_-

On troy we have somewhat of the opposite problem. We have waaaaay too many 7x hunters and only a few of us elite thieves. And yeah, merc problem galore...

Blame the new job system. If it weren't for that, they'd split between thief and hunter just for the fun of trying to kill each other and bragging about it. But if they have to choose, they have to choose for the job, not who they want to pvp in a job war.

i took a long time to pick a job, first i was a thief, but mostly everyone is a thief ( Alexander ), but when i partied with thieves, all we were doing was attacking low level hunters and traders, i felt bad for doing it, there was no challenge, they're some higher level hunters and traders of course DUHR, but not much, it was boring.

Now I'm a hunter, it's exactly the same thing, i think they are both boring now, but i rather be hunter, thief and merchant. Maybe i'm just online when all the low levels are on for some reason.

Sometimes when i go to south gate of Sams, and they're would be like 8 thieves and 1 hunter, that's no fun, i wonder who is going to win there??? :roll:

Or it's the other way around, 1 thief and many hunter, that's no fun either :roll:

What i usually do now when i see job fights at south gate of sams is, i buff both hunters, thiefs, and traders when they are fighting, and i also res them if they die.

So my choice for job is Hunter, Thief and Trader, hahah yeah right, i wish i could just change jobs that quickly like old times :cry:

i can understand wanting to change jobs a little, but you have admit it was really retarded, oh my hunter just turned into a theif, or that theif just turned into a hunter and kill that other theif, and log off and back on and is waiting for a trader to come by again, it was killing for the sake of killing, its fun when you actually do the job and not job war (though that can be some what fun for a while) but the old system really was broken, I like this new system it encourages you to be the best of your job that you can be, its even ranked, and it makes jobbing less messed up because not every random person that felt like robbing you could, it makes it more balanced, because they have to risk leaving town and being seen by a hunter on the way, and i have to leave town and risk being seen by a theif, it makes it more fun.

The job wars on troy the past few days have been actually ok. The hunters love to 8v1 people but when its actually even they all hide in safe zone *sigh* oh well its troy for you

Replace the word Babel with Greece and you pretty much describe the Greece server perfectly, especially the part w/ there being 3 sun weps that aren't thieves.

Also having untouchable clerics running around with the party, makes killing thiefs attacking your trade a waste of time as they can get right back up again. and the thiefs dont even dont even bother having pots now. All they do is sucuide attacks to make you run out of pots.

I fix for this would be clerics unable to res a person in a job suit. Unless he is also in a job suit

we own everysingle one of those thiefs <3 except mabye dyna haha

thiefs are noob on troy.. there are like 3-5 good thiefs on troy

Owned? I died a single time to mercs... that's it O.o

Outside of that, I mostly die to merc spawn lag and not being able to pull fan spear on time.

EDIT: Thieving is a bitch though, you really need to choose your battles... Some of the biggest guilds went hunter/trader and the whole union ofcourse followed em -.- You really need some backup for half the robberies you pull just because they'll call their whole union and 5 sets of mercs to come get ya.

murder the cleric, for some reason people don't go after murderers as much sense capes make you turn red too,
though ya they should tweak it some so they can't do that

I was thieving with Giuseppe yesterday and we couldn't even leave jn without scrolling or teleporting.

the hunter always use clerics and mercs when they are in a job war...

they have sun weps and sets with str buffs its pointless to stay and keep fighting...

TBH i dont care much for jobbers with Sun, im theif and ive killed enough Sun hunters without having to use mercs. Jobbing is supposed to be fun but too many people take it far too seriousley, theres some traders/hunters on Athens who merc even before theyve left the city gate and they happily merc for the entire trade. And we take immense pleasure from just upsettin their trades for as long as we can be bothered.
