I was thinking about something, reinforce increase damage, everyone know this, but there is reinforce on armor piece, does it affect dmg too or it affect your defense? since int is calculated in mag defense it might multiply with reinforce as it do with dmg.

or if it doesnt, and apply to damage does garm-prot-armor have the same reinforce or garm have betetr mag and armor better phys?

It does not affect your attack power. (I tested that)
Though I am not sure what it does. I assume it effects defense, but I don't know if anyone proved it.

Yes it does ^^^^

have someone nuke you

Put on a parry ratio scroll

have them nuke you again

See what happens =)

not parry, its about reinforce you get form armor piece like you have on ur weapon. I was wondering if it was 2 different reinforce like defense reinforce and offense reinforce.

or ther eis just one reinforce and it apply to both

Reinforces on armor does improve defence.

I heard reinforce will affect the durability. The higher is it, the less the durability will be worn down.

Don't know if it's true though.

Reinforce is helping you alot in defense or offense. Like if your weapon at +41% phy or mag attk and at 1000 then if you have phy or mag attk reinforce +41% then it will raise your attk from 1000 to like 1100 something like that. I'm not sure exactly how many more points it gains. Same goes for the clothes but in defense

Phy. Atk = [Phy. attack power + (Str stat * Phy. Reinforce)] * [1 + weapon mastery/100]
Mag. Atk = [Mag. attack power + (Int stat * Mag. Reinforce)]
I am guessing reinforce on armor affects damage.

that formula refers to the reinforce on your weapon, and the formula is wrong, but close.

the formula for calcualting defense is very similar and relys on the reinforce value.

phy reinf on gear change your phy def , try to change some phy reinf with alchemy and look at your phy def , but you wont see your phy power changing . ..

Exactly only your phy def and mag def go higher in 2 points + from wat you got be4 doing alchemy. too bad i dont have screen shot to show you :)

Just add all the phy reinforce % on all your equips including shield (just not your atking wpn). Multiply by your str stat. Add the total phy def of all your equip including shield. Then check that value with your char phy defense on Charachter screen.

Final Phy defense = [Total Phy defense + (Str stat X Total Phy Reinforce / 100)]

Do the same with mag def.

It has nothing to do with durability (you have a separate dura stat) or involve in damage calculation.

Armor / prot / garm have different reinforce stats.
