Use invisibility and catch them unprepared (not using snow shield).
I think its part of JM's way to balance the game. I wouldve loved to double ghost walk, but shadow shares its cooldown with phantom :/.

use the earth charge skill ,
or u can try using the lighting skill that causes fear
i didnt know that but i am a wizard 2 , sorta pissed on finding out about that

meteor cooldown is 10 secs so it means 10 secs cooldown for firebolt too if you use meteor first.
anyway, i decided to just use firebolt first coz it only has 3 sec cooldown then follow it with meteor and pray to hell the pure str chinese is dead coz meteor cooldown of 10 secs is too long.

farmed too little. i had to keep up with the hardcore botters, highest level on mercury now are 75+++. my earth and ice trees aren't up to date. i had to focus on fire tree coz it gives the biggest damage plus fast cooldown.

Try this: Meteor skill then your highest level Lightening (nuke) skill that should take them out

just lvl at your pace.
earth and fire , you need both.
light for tele/fear/ some good int KD
ice for more aoe, and 3rd highest dmg, also invis
you need ALL

maybe meteor followed by earth charge might work, or maybe u can use the fear status light skill and hope 2 god it works and use ice spear then use meteor again

thanks for all the replies.
it's only my fire tree that's good. my ice bolt is lvl 9 and my earth shock is lvl 6. i did not bother farming enough SP in my rush to get to lvl 60.
so i am gonna stick to firebolt+meteor combo. kinda gay coz i am doing a weaker first-hit nuke. my lvl 1 meteor makes 20-30% more damage than my lvl 14 fire bolt.
i am still hoping that joymax will fix this cooldown timer bug of meteor skill. it should not affect firebolt, just like the fire nukes of chinese. until then, i am keeping meteor lvl 1.

Doubt it's a bug. Earth shock should be more then enough to finish the job if it's farmed to your level against pure str +5 lvls above you.
I would imagine being able to pull off your two hardest hitting nukes in rapid succesion would be a bit unfair to chinese. I just tested it and even fire blow took out a 68 glaiver on the second hit after meteor.

Yeah it don't think that it is a glitch, so it will stay like that. Wizzy are the hardest nukers so they are limited by not being able to do their 2 strongest nukes back to back. Good think you got many others you can use in its place. . .farm a little and its problem solved.

use all the nukes you have. that actual damage of them doesnt make that much of a difference, its the % that follows the damage that makes the biggest difference, learned this from my lvl 80 nuker, light nuke book 2 isnt much weaker than light nuke book 3, technically u can use them back to back and do good damage, try using one of ur lower nukes
