to those that say bard don't really have attacks how wrong you are
you can count on 2 hitting stuff on lvl the same as with a cleric, and you don't get the agro the same
and have all the mp you can waste
though both are usefull cleric is a needed for a party to work well, except in a very heavily warrior party that spams knock down
both usefull, bard is actually kinda fun, you'll hate it till lvl 20 though but once you get to lvl 20 it'll be good, and they can pvp pretty decently, not godly like some of the others but the sound nuke, then the area sound nuke 2 goes off really fast, enough to beat an int str can still be beaten but never tried to fight a chinese str with my bard, but they aren't meant to be heavy fighters but can handle them selves some what
