Well random DCs and ??? has been something I've dealt with since the beginning.

But recently, everytime I port to Hotan to I get ???

I can relog and repair and whatever i need to do in Hotan, but if I need to teleport back, its ???? every single time.

Anyone else have this problem? And then solved it?

if u hold v everything except pets and horses disapear so maybe your comp or internet cant handle verything at once so try making them dissaperar and stuff idk

i told my friend to do it cause he lags in town

Every time i log in i get an automatic dc due to the ??? error. Just give it a few days and hope it gets fixed.

What is this holding V thing?

if you hold V, players and monsters disappear on your screen..
they are still there, but your computer doesnt have to load it all

i had this problem aswell, but it was everything:
return scrolls, dieing, tele, even docks
it lasted for like a week and a half, then just suddenly stopped

Is it possible to do this hold V thing as it's loading the world after selecting your character?

i think so ur going to find out either way

Holding v doesn't do anything, the ???? error happens when you teleport/return scroll. I've had this error for a while now and it makes me go

If someone has found a way to fix it, please share <3

I had that problem to. Almost evry time when I teleporti get DC. And then I clear out the new quick bar that they added with euro update and problem was gone. No more DC while teleporting

Before you teleport into town, hold "v" and then press the "windows key". Now let go of "v".

Just dont type anything in the chat space or it would be released again, or if you just press "v" it would be released again.

I tried that, but it still crahsed on me while loading. Thanks for the help though.

Its totally random, ive tried everything, its just a bug that they dont know how to fix.

Honest, ive tried it all.

I get "????" almost everytime i spawn in Hotan

try setting SRO_CLIENT in win 98/Me compatiability mode.
it works for me
