Ideal SRO For Me (Input from 60 Cap Players Only)

You have no idea how fun Silkroad was. So what if there was only Karakoram. As someone posted below, the Silkroad community was unmatched. On Tavern, Oasis and SilkroadForums, we had players from Lineage, WoW and other games visit just because Silkroad Community was so active. The other games had nothing in comparison.
Guild Rivalries. None exist today. On Aege alone there were so many. GuardianZ vs Gotei13. DreamZ vs TAIWAN. Xitin4ever vs DreamZ. Xitin4ever vs Everyone. DreamZ vs Everyone. Huge union made. DeJaVu Union vs Taiwan Union vs DreamZ/BabySG Union vs Nation Union, Sacred Ascension Union vs BrosInArms Unions.
Back then it wasn't just one dominating Guild or Union. There wasn't just one dominating guild in 1 union. The power and balance in the Silkroad Community was widespread. This lead to incredible fun fights. Allegiances were made. Sacred Union and BrosInArms union often fought together. Nation and DreamZ. Peopel spent hours in just robbing one guild. Spent hours just attempting one trade run. You don't see large number of guilds getting together to rape another union. People organized and sent out spies and just to rape Venezuela's trade run.
So yeah maybe there was only Karakoram, but then, no one was botting 24.7 or SP Farming all day. We were too busy having fun with rivalries, server trade runs.
You think Euro is a party Class add-on? You guys have no ideas what kind of teamwork and parties it took to take down DreamZ/BabySG Union Trade runs. And the tenacity of players was great, didn't just give up. It would take a guild often hours just to get out of dead ravine because there was so much conflict.

Get rid of Euro. Euro is just Joymax's failed attempt to make Silkroad into World of Warcraft, KnightOnline or any other generic MMORPG. Anyone who has played other MMORPG will agree Euro skills and classes are almost identical to WoW and other MMORPGS.
Silkroad, I loved it cause it was unique. No other game with the skill trees, masteries and STR/INT balances like it. No other game lets you have Nuking power and weapon skills. Or change your STR/INT completely to your needs. Other games, your class only has certain skills and have to maintain certain balance or build (STR, INT, Dex) to use that class's weapon and gears.
Euro ruined that. Euro makes Silkroad no different than any other MMORPG.

I wish all alchemy items were non-tradable. Meaning all elixirs, elements, tablets are player bound. Only way to improve your gears is to play.
Increase success rate on alchemy stones because of above.
No Astrals. So its not about who has the most $$ to waste or CCF.

I wish that's all they were. Just unique. Not insanely +15, +10 or +5. People would still want them cause these weapons would have special glows and may look different. But a well pimped weapon will still be equal to the unique weapon. Unique weapon just more desirable because it is Unique in design.

Only have Unique Weapons available when players can make equivalent weapons strength. Like in 60 Cap, there were no Sun 7th Degree, only SOS and SOM. And barely any SOM ever found.
Example: 8th Sun should not be available unless equivalent gear available. Only have Sun 8th if you can have 76 Weapon (First 9th Degree).

I really hate immunity. Fire Shield is bugged. It works by % instead of effect. 73 Effect reduction!!!! Not 73% Reduction!!!
60 Cap: People used different imbues. It was fun. Not everyone was fire. There were more INT using lightning back then. A lot of bladers and glaives and almost all archers were Ice Users.
People used Frost Nova. That was a lot of fun!!!!
Now its horribly boring. Fire, fire, fire. Boring, boring, boring.

For me I think this would reduce gold bots and gold buying. While the above may encourage player botting, but for me what ruins the game the most is the gold botters and gold buying. If you can't buy everything to pimp your gears, no reason to buy gold. The economy would remain stable. People still need to use the market system to buy and trade gears.
This will also ensure that anyone who spends enough time in the game will be able to have the best gears in the game. Game will not be dependent on "luck" or gold buying.
Its a shame when you know people and have friends who have played for 1.5-2 years and quit the game because of botting (botting for SOX) and Gold Buyers ruined the Economy and PvP.
60 Cap was by far the BEST CAP. NO QUESTION, 60 cap was the Golden Period for Silkroad Online. Not many botters. No Astrals. Gold buying was not prevalent. Your character's strength was based on the Build and Skills. People who were more farmed were stronger.
Also the favorite players were from 60 cap. Now its just gold buyers and botters.
::::::::::::::Ultimately What I want::::::::::::::
I want this game to be based on your build's %. Not about who has the most Sun Gear/Unique Gears. Whoever has the highest level skills, highest level buffs and good Balance should win.
Since this game is grind based. If you are legit, its a lot of time spent. So it should be rewarding. If you spend the time, you'll be great. There are plenty of "legit" players who have never bought astrals, bought gold and do not have gears to compare to gold buyers and Sun Users. They may have a great build, Maxed out skills, still no match. The game should reward whoever plays the most, not who has "luck" in finding Sun or buys the most gold.
Too many players quit because of the above. They bought GTs, and monkey pets. Some bought astrals, but not gone crazy. But Euro, Gold Buying and Sun Users killed the game for them. And as long as these are around, never coming back...

No its not. Euro sucks because it changes the PvP gameplay. The amount of damage and buffs that euro has completely unbalanced the game. Euro buff that increases physical defense by 800!!! My level 80 Glaiver with 2 peices of SoSun and complete +5 set with 54/55 STR added, had only 1080 Physical Defense. 800 physical def buff is just ridiculous. Buffs that add 30 INT or 30 STR is just out of question. It takes many players months of grinding and million upon millions of gold to get 30 STR or INT added to their gears. Clerics, a healing class outdamaging a Pure INT Chinese Mage is also ridiculous.
You think a 15 sec pot delay matters if you have 30 added stats, 800 phys def buff and ridiculously strong attacks? Who cares, plus you can still use Vigors, no matter.
One thing about Euros if they stay around is to make them 1 class only. No subclass. If you are a Cleric, you are a cleric, nothing else. If Joymax wants to make Silkroad a generic MMORPG, then follow through. Seeing Warriors with bard subclass buffing themselves or rogues is just idiotic.

Instead spending money and time on stupid updates like Euro. Lets put those minds to better use. Find creative ways and ideas to counter gold farmers and botters. No other Company other than Blizzard truly makes an effort here. Having a stable gaming environment alone will make Silkroad the top MMORPG.
Lets have gameplay updates. Improve the triangular system. Who likes having to be assigned to a school, and be stuck with only 1 profession? Who likes this alias bullsh*t? When I thief, I need a reason. Just to steal some loot isn't enough. Knowing who that person is, from what guild he is in, if he is on my guild's KOS List, well time to hunt him down. Guild Rivalries no longer exists in Silkroad. It was great back when guilds challenged each other in job fights. Today all you see is random names like UberThief, Nubcake, ImAMoron, ImSexy and other assinine names.
What about Castle Seige. Castel Seige has been promised for well over a year. Gargamel suggested this for almost year and half now and there is no sign or hint that any progress has been made.
Unique Mobs. Increased Damage, Increased HP. Make them more difficult to kill. If Yarkan only spawns every 6-9 hours, then it should take 1-2 hours to kill that mofo. 3 minutes to kill a level 80 unique during 80 cap is just wrong. More Uniques per level. Level Caps should be implemented so that only only players below 63 can kill Isyutaru (64 weapon is too ridiculous for Isy). Add a new unique for 70 Players. Only players 73 and below can killl that new unique. Uruchi only for 48 and below players. Make a new Unique for level 50 players. Seeing a level 80 rape Isy is too sad. LeveL 60 players wait hours for it to spawn, then some level 80 comes and rapes him in under 30 seconds, how sad is that?
Dungeons. More dungeons and better dungeons. Grinding on Niya Generals and Hunters for eternity during 80 cap is mind numbing. Maybe an instance. So that you don't have to compete with 20 other players in the same room. Make a party, and go through the dungeon in an instance, glorious fun and grinding.
There are plenty of alternatives to improve the game and keep it unique than just making classes with lame WoW Skills.
I'm done. My last rant about Silkroad Online. If SUN Online or Warhammer proves to be amazing, its truly good bye to Silkroad. Right now WoW and 2Moons can kiss my @ss.

Originally played on Aege during 60 cap. End of January, Aege experience atrocious lags. Lags that made many great players quit Silkroad. Instead of quitting, took a break from Aege and experience Oasis. Oasis = THE BOT SERVER. Got sick and left for a while. Today it doesn't matter because botting is just synonmous with Silkroad. Shared an account on Venice. Venice = CCF Heaven. Disgusting. After astrals and gold farming... all down hill.
This was my experience and my opinions.
Today, I only hope someday I'll see my Glaive on Aege and INT/Bicheon on Oasis both to level 90. New skills and gears is all that's left, unless the gameplay itself improves. The updates to triangular system is truly a misfortune IMO. Castle Seige or improved Unique Hunting, can only dream. In 3 Months, My Oasis INT leveled from 63-71 only. Although it has only 1 more week until all skills I want maxed at 70. But still, unactive. The Glaive on Aege still only has skills maxed at 69. Haven't played the glaive in almost 6 months now.
Wait and see.....
