soo how come 1 char cant transfer to another?

im just curious but how come like the char data on each server cant be transfered to another server?
i imagine just lik.. having worlds like runescape would be okay.. but not copying it.. just be able to switch characters to different servers..wouldn it like be more diverse .. like you would see more different people rather than the same old people..??
wouldnt this be better..? but it cant be done right?.. why..?

you miss the concept, people could move through diffrent servers, so a new server is just more space the entire population can log into, pming your friend "what server are you on? ok omw."

Maybe not changing server, but allow channels in the same server would be nice just to spread out some for training.

If you havent noticed...character names on new servers can be the SAME as character names on other servers, the availability of names are reset, if they were to allow characters to cross between serevrs, i think it might cause a buit of a technical issue...but i think they did this because they know they'll never allow such a thing in the first place.

true but what nightbloom said is a great idea, ive seen this on other online games, for example LastChaos and GE. It would make grinding in tight spaces alot smoother..

Well I guess they could handle that with a server tag. So you could go to Hotan and see (Venice)PR0METHEUS, (Xian)PR0METHEUS.... They'd be different characters, with different owners.
One issue with moving between servers would be the economy. Different servers have different economies, so you could go to one server to buy a really cheap SOS and go to another server to sell it at a HIGH price, things like that.
Either they'd have to make the economies all the same on all servers, or maybe only allow trade/buy/sell/stall between members of the same server. Let characters jump to another server simply to grind.
Either way there'd be a LOT of technical issues to deal with especially on existing servers.

100% hunters or thieves would never happen. Thieves would have no one to rob, and hunters would have no one to protect and no one to kill. No point in that.

less botters in a new server so u could grind.. and kill the uniques
and besides if the scammer goes from server to servver.. ppl will know who he is and just learn to ignore.
It be more fun for jobbing too..differnt servers say they have more thievies and less hunters while some are the other way around. jobbing would be so much more different since you wont be able to know who will be who and what build..
but.. in the end.. too bad this cant be done =[

People would just go to that server with their level 80s to get the first unique kill...

i agree with fly. Especially for job conflict, theives would have a very hard time catching traders, cuz u might be @ the right spot a trade is happening but different channels.
I think moveing servers is also a bad idea...@least until the bot problems r fixed, thus (i am multitasking and writing an english report as we speak

) we will get server switches in 50 years

it cost money to get this doing... they need to hire a person to transfer your files and look if it proper to do it... it cost time... they dont want that=S

yup. mmos should look and feel like 1 big world.
joymax messed up by letting people outlevel jangan and donwang too fast. leaving everyone packed into hotan. should of made jangan 1-30, don 30-60 and hotan 60-90. spread ppl out evenly. if i was a designer, i would not spend ages making jangan look awesome and then let everyone skip over it in 2 days of leveling.

well stay ther to 30 ..no thanks ..Btw now is euro open so is more room now and you can go thwer if you want........is noot need to stay only on hotan..and be the same when new come to the came be anyway likr in hotan or down.. i dont complaine about it .is good what it is.

Ya hotan is wayyy to crowded, i recently moved there, and it takes 4 ever 2 repair and repot. Id rather be @ dhongwang any old day. They should make @least another city, mayb for lvl 70+. Or mayb chin tomb will have a new city?
