Yea, those are the reactions we got from ppl.
Would you rather spend less to buy a Sun? or Keep what so called being "legitimate" and spend more on silk?

Buying gold is illegal yes, but thats the law set by JM.
Players got to think that
"I should not buy gold"
"I should farm my gold and buy my silk"
because of the rules JM set.

Think abt the hard money u earned or your parents earned.
We should spend wisely don't we? If u really want something, buy cheap. Isn't that how we buy things in real life?

Well theres two issues here that you shouldnt entangle:

1. Players buying gold

2. Players buying silk

One shouldnt even be encouraged nor justified. Its against the rules. That should be more than enough to say no to. We can go into more details on how it kills the server (by encouraging more gold bots etc) but you get the idea.

The other is part of the game. If players want to spend an arm and a leg to enjoy the game, so be it. The option is there, plus you're actually helping JM make more money so developing the game better (though you can argue here ).

So dont mix the two distinctly separate issues.

I go fishing.
I snowboard
I Play piano

Fishing gear costs over 5k
Snowboarding gear costs about 3k
My keyboard costs over 8k

I play silkroad the most
I've spent 1k

You do the math for Time/Fun/Money

If you earned the money, you can spend it however the hell you want...

But gold buying isnt just wrong because "JM says its wrong". Its wrong because you're supporting gold bots. Gold bots=annoying server traffic and all that damn annoying spam in town x_x

And yes, buying silk is what joymax wants you to do. What company doesnt want you to spend money on their stuff?

The best idea would be to just send your money to me

i dont want to know how they make hot dogs and hamburger same as I dont want to know how you +9 your weapon, both sicken me, but the end result is rather nice

ppl earn their money....i c no problem whatever they spend on...if they happy...money does its job....jus like anything else..

problem is that he spend so much money to make his lvl72 to +9...then when cap raises...that weapon is useless as he will be going to use a new one

yah... agreed...but not everyone gonna play til capped...most game gets borin after awhile....ppl quit.. moved on

its good and bad though to spend on the game, it does make it more enjoyable, but theres always a bad boomerang effect , at least for me, on buying silks an all that. If I go overboard I always regret it later.

this is how i c money...u gonna spent one way or the other...jus like when i go clubbin....jus one night i could burn 200-300 dollars on drink...but i no i can make it back....lol

did u know 10% of them real people typing with this hands , ( by people i mean , people in china that have no job ) , and they advertise the gold site and they get paid poor money ( but hey he/she need the money ) just so they can meet ther daily needs in life

im 15 my dad is ceo of ADT he would slap me if i spent 1k usd on ANY game althogh you have the money you would have to be a spoiled bastard to waste 1000$ on a game only if it was like xbox 360 or ps3 but not a mmorpg...

To be honest its not that much. Think about it. Over the year and a half.
30 bucks every month = 540.
Every month you buy some return scrolls, some astrals. Its quite easy to hit 1000 easily.

Whats the difference between spending the money on a mmo or any other want? There is none. God dam. Why do you think people work? People work for 2 reasons, needs and wants. Money gives us the access to things we need, like a house, water, food, etc. The remained of our money we spend on our wants. Now wants can be anything. But the main reason we buy a want is to have fun.

Now with that said, why do you think he brought the silk? Because it makes him have fun. Plain and simply. Now just because you think a xbox360 is more fun than a SUN +7 spear, it dosnt mean he does. His money was not wasted, his money was justifiably spent. It has allowed him to have fun and acquire something he wants, which is why we all spend our money

Lol your wrong. Why would anyone pay someone to type it over and over, when you could set a macro to type those words, then just have an automated device to press the macro key every so often? Logic takes the win.
