Oh noes!

Well,As some f you guys know i have been trying to download sro for 5 days and today i finally got it.
But i installed it and then clicked on it and this happens:
Help please
PS:I dont use windows Vista
PSS:Mods please dont move this because i will get more help here then in techinal help

+1, since I know I don't read any other section.
Did you try just using a torrent?
Did you try using DAP (download accelerator plus) to download it directly off of a site like filefront? Or don't use DAP and download in a single continuous session using internet explorer. Sometimes firefox causes errors. Or try using opera (which is a superior browser
)
Redownloading is all I can suggest. >.< If it happens one more time, I can directly transfer it to you by aim/gchat or someone else can.
edit: also go to task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and end ALL programs that are nonessential, including your firewall and virus scanner. Basically a bare bones system. Then try installing (while offline, i.e. ethernet unplugged).

try the second one then, as in end all programs and try installing (while offline).

i ahd this problem to.
Try rebooting ure pc. worked for me

Hes trying to help. Nobody will help you if your not going to be grateful.
Try, defragmenting, and make sure your installation isn't corrupt. (Reinstall).
Or even just try a simple reboot.

I can't install I think it was Unreall 2K4 when I had my firewall up. Just a suggestion since it worked for me for one game....

Reboot = turn off your pc...people do it now and then.
Turn off your comp for 30+ seconds to clear your RAM and do a cold start. Then hit power button. And boot up. After starting try installing.

Like turn it off by the button located on the bottom of the pc tower or by using the start menu?

Either. Go to start --> shutdown. Click shutdown. Computer will shutdown. Leave off for about 30 seconds or more.
Then come back, hit power button (to turn on your pc).
Assuming windows xp, log in and install.

No but updating takes around 15 mins or so and i need to go to school in 40 mins xD

Well you wont be able to log in, so do the update now. Play when you get home.

Ahh the update took around 1 minute but its all good now.I'm going to try and install sro now so keep tuned soda and everyone else who offered there help to me
