Well,For 3 Days i have been trying to download silkroad.
But i'm not sure what the best site to download is from is?

I Honestly Recommend FileFront.

And would you download it using IE or using the downloader built into FF?

3 days, i am dling this on my laptop and its just over an hour

I dont know why people are scared of IE.

Download it off of IE.

Dude,Mine keeps failing because when i get to 100% it never says done and then i cannot open the file.
Take me 3 hours to actually DL it but then it does'nt say done and the file could'nt be opened.

Was this using IE?
If so, try it with FF.

And if FF doesnt work,
Try your luck with uTorrent. (I do not recommend it)

Ok i will go get new IE then DL it.
Will tell you then end result when i get back from school.

Use the freaking torrent....... It only worked for me.... Other places nothing....

All these are on the SRO main site. ONE of them should work OK. If not, its not the DL, is something in your comp.

This doesn't make a difference in connection speed; your ISP determines that.

I got it from torrent at 200 KB/sec

Torrents arn't for noobs.

You've gotta wait for the torrent to speed up. When you first start, you have nothing to seed, therefore you have low priority in downloading stuff, once you've downloaded a decent amount, and you are seeding to other people you can download ALOT faster.

As for downthemall, just find a site that allows multiple connections, and you can download VERY fast. I can download at around 1.5mb/s with downthemall.

Level 88 Not on iSRO.

torrent took me around an hour...just set your upload limit to like 7kb/s and dl limit to unlimited 30 x's faster

same with me, i downloaded the other uploaded installers and they didnt work for me, but once i did with the torrent, it worked perfectly.

I used torrent too, for some reason it went at 100kbs+ for me and all other links was giving me 50kbs-

Well,I have downloaded it using DAP just waiting to get home off the bus and then i will be able to check if it worked
