Tried recruiting a power leveller, failed to do so.

Gotta hand grind my Euro

Now, I need advice from ppl who have tried it and know how to make it works.

My problem is that I can't find a 8 man PT at all. Trust me, U can't find any in Alps. Even if there is one, u end up dead 1X times.
So I am left with 1 option, solo grind.
I know Merik from Alps did it, hes lvl 72+ Rogue.
But he was being power leveled full force till level 5X at least.

Now, i tried solo grind a few times, I end up dead most of the time too.
Yea... pick non agro mobs, what about quests?
Ok, skip quests. When i hit lvl 6X what now? All the non agro mobs comes with a brother which is agro...
Ok, I can one hit them, what about Champions? Giants? PT mobs that some 8man spawned near u?
Some just spawn rught on top of you, when you start running, you end up being chased by more.
I am planning to build a Cleric sub Barb or Wizard sub Cleric

So.... help me guys.

What build are you? If you're rogue, x-bow should have been your weapon of choice. Otherwise, go to the 1 hit mobs. For giants,champs, party mobs, just hit and run. It takes a lot of clicking, but just stick with it and you won't die.

EDIT: Cleric, yeah? Find an area with non aggro only.

non agro... thats bad man....
there aren't so many non agro area...

Are you grinding at Euro or China areas? China has tons of non agro areas to my knowledge.

China... yea there are quite a few non agro area.
I am more concern abt lvl 5X. Penons onwards, almost all areas has got some agro mobs. Even penons comes with giant and champs

I'm sure by then you should have parties...but you can also just party up with Chinese chars can you not?

if im going solo on my rogue; i whip out my xbow, turn on xbow extreme (keeping in mind to go for general and champs only) and use my wolf as a tank when needed. it usually works out well. btw i can grind orange mobs

and i am considering going sub-cleric (but sp is an issue since i dont know which skills are essintial.... )

Maybe spend a little time actually making friends with people so that you can grind with them? Been grinding euro chars for the last couple of days in 3 person parties and it has been exciting and fun ... and the leveling has been going fast even though none of us are using any sort of ticket.

I already know the people I am grinding with ... but it shouldn't be that hard for you to make some new friends.

I got friends in game.
But its hard to get all to play with you, every1 has their own stuff to worry abt. Some are still playing chinese, some has got Euro but is at a different lvl range.
I play abt 3-4 hours a day, its really not that easy to find some1 to grind with you everyday for 3-4 hours. Which means you have to look for them, but then you've only got 3-4 hours. When your search is done, mayb half of your time is already gone.
and then only to find out that you've partied with a bunch of newbs who run all over the place leaving you the "healer" to die 10+ times.
Been there, done that. thats y i am going solo.

i know how you feel in alps its difficult to find a good party if any. Best thing is to get p'leveled as much as other say they hate it. My 29 rogue is always dying too.
what's your build? if you got an xbow you should be ok on mobs your level. other classes are good too you just have to click carefully and prepare to run.

You made the choice to pick a euro. You knew perfectly well that a party wouldn't pop up every 3 seconds for you. Quit your bitching. AT higher lvl's it will be easier to party, because thats when people stop power lvling. Till then just dont complain, it was your choice to do it and now you are stuck with the consequences.

i usually find a party easily up untill you hit lvl 25 creatures, you can find a party up untill the first area of dark wolves and baroi near the road next to droa, past that its so empty, and unless you go with some one you won't find a party, just make freinds, i don't have issues about it.

Well, Im dagger rogue Lvl 48 with npc gear and Im 2 shotting Penons........ Easy grinding....I just whip on desperate and Im set, just gotta stay away from those pesky giants!

Edit - On hercules, there is always a 8 man..... Its just the night time I need to solo ^^

I love the xbow and 2-3 shot the mobs 2-3 lvl higher.

However, my latest theory for solo is to use daggers and cleric sub for giants and party mobs. If you're already past lvl 40, you can get Recovery Division.... which may allow you to fight with dagger desperate engaged.

so this is the last resot ey? anyway i cant suggest you where to grind actually, quite true about the parties in Alps. Shout in town or do globals perhaps? try shout in Samarkand or Hotan.
