What happens if i switch jobs?

I want to be hunter or trader, i have 23% Theif exp. Will i lose theif exp if i become hunter?

Aside from losing all your job XP.... you will also be required to wait a WHOLE 7 days before joining another Job guild

thats what makes me stay hunter, even if trader is kinda cool. i just dont wanna lose that lv4 -__-" worked so hard for it..
