I have decided to move back to a Chinese character for the simple fact that although Euro allows me to play without really SP farming, I just prefer the style of the Chinese characters. The diversity of the skill trees, the armours/clothes being available to all characters, the fact that while gap levelling - you can wear armour fit for your level (stupid mastery system on Euro FTL), and the pot delay.

What I need help with is farming issues at level 16. I don't have a 16 SoX bow on any server whatsoever, and let's face it, it's pretty much a necessity for the stronghold and farming at that level. So I'm wondering if any SRF member out there would be prepared to let me borrow their level 16 farming bow until I farm around 100k SP (hopefully it'll take me around 2-3 weeks if I purchase Premium, GT & SPT on the character).

Server isn't an issue either, I'm willing to move over to whatever server you have the bow on, to make the transition easier. My Euro Warrior/Rogue only has 6mill anyway, so not like I'd be able to fund it on that account.

Forgot to ask, would your bow make me able to 1 shot Bandit Archers as a Pure Str?

Oh, and if I didn't make it clear in my original message, I'd like to borrow a bow that will enable me to 1 hit Bandit Archers as a Pure Str lvl 16-18.

for a pure str.. you would need at least a som +4 with fire imbue on to 1 shot archers plus +3int on your equipments
(i tried before.. sos.. isnt enough for pure str)

Then I guess I'm looking for a SoM+4 or above bow, thanks for the advice.

Unfortunately, tainted's bow wasn't pre-upgraded so I won't be borrowing it. I do appreciate him offering to help though, very nice of him.

Anyone else willing to help me out for the period of 2-3 weeks noted above?

Oh and you can borrow a 16 sos bow that I found. Not pimp-ed though.

I play on greece, i have seen multiple 16 sos bows for 3m. Ive seen sos +5 bows going for 6-8m. The price of 16 sox bows are falling slowly.


As for topic starter, lvl your char to lvl 30, keeping your masteries at lvl 5 except just lvl the mastery lvl of 1 force to keep a 0 gap. Then once u hit 30, delevel and get your 9 gap happening again. All that additional stat points will allow you to farm alot faster and since its only lvl 30, it shouldn't take more than a few days. I doubt you will find anyone willing to GIVE you a 16 som +4 or greater bow for 3 weeks.

He probably meant som. But I agree with Ted it'd be rare to find someone who'll lend out a 20 mil weapon to a complete stranger. And you can't really blame them with all the scams going around.

Nah I know it's very unlikely, and they can't be 100% sure I'm not a scammer.

Not really a big deal, I'll stick with my Euro characters until I find someone who is willing, as I don't feel like changing my plans and farming elsewhere.

Wow so many people are willing to borrow a sos bow ^^
ive been scammed by a guildmate for a lousy 2 mil after we were in same guild for 2 months... now i would borrow expensive stuff only to like 10-11 people from my server whom i really trust.

But still, its nice that there's so many people who would still trust strangers in sro.

I'd rather level my Euro to 80 in the time it would take to do that.

Farming at 16 is a waste. Youll be ksed by 100 other noobs trying to sp farm. Farm at a higher level.

you could also go on your lvl 4x euro, set your lvl 16 to trace and start 1 hitting lvl 27 mobs,
think it will be faster then farming in den and you dont need a sos~som bow

Not a waste at all. Going zero gap with all skills maxed is heaven. And its a good option for bladers.

Well then go ahead and have fun. While you're farming your ass off for 3 weeks ill be lvl 52 with a 4 lvl gap.

If I had 2 PCs available to me constantly, my Euros would be a much higher level than they currently are, believe me.

Those 4x's are pure hard work, not power-levelling. >:3

So yeah, not so nice.
