I have lvl 45 blader. Many ppl are saying that blader is useless and so on. So what should i do? Keep building that,bec i have bieceon lvl 45 , it takes too much money to take it down, or start playing with my lvl 31 wizard?

No D2A brainwashed people into saying it's useless.

Thing you need to ask yourself is .. do you like playing as a blader? If so .. well theres your answer.

Blader's not useless.. depends on how you play it.

Just Delete that character.

The blader's potential has gotten a lot better at this cap. Before you make any decisions check out some of the capped bladers on your server. The chains with their rather nice status effects make having a blader in a job war pretty nice.

play it if u like it, everyone dies at some point in pvp, not cuz ur build sucks, just cuz the other guy got better equips.

i dont mean to support D2A but from looking at KSRO screenshots and KSRO videos on youtubes, you dont see many bladers ...

reason as to why there arent many bladers ... iono, work it out yourself..

when i look at kSRO all i see are glaive users..
does that mean nukers stink because not over 50% of population use it in kSRO?

Bladers are not useless. In wars and jobs they can keep KDing damage dealers, till others kill weaker ones. It's not something D2A would know, as he is obviously pure solo player.


btw. I'm not a blader, but I did win some wars thanks to them.

I dont think KD in groupfight is usefull O_o

Anyway...If you like it to play with a blader...play with the blader, otherwise consider taking it down and upping bow/glaive.

bladers are pretty cool but i can tank a lvl 80 sosun blade/shield and im 77 not fully farmed

Well blader got sweet moves but if they cant kill any1 high lvls, and killing uniq is uniq too lol, then why bother. lvl 60 wiz with +3 npc staff and life control kills lvl 72 glavier with 2 shot lol.

ask yourself. do you want to be a bad ass or do you want to enjoy this game?

bad ass - start over or become the infamous glaive build.

enjoy - keep it, it is useful for the later. i am a blader myself. i'm enjoying it, the skills (especially chains) are keeping me motivated to level up my char. also, it is useful when you do you job (thieving especially).

here is the important question: do you have fun playing with your blader? if yes, then f*** what everybody has to say. if you are a sheep, then listen to what everyone else has to say and throw away all the time and effort (and possibly money) you "wasted" on your blader. here's an idea. play your other char for a week and forget about your blader. next week, play with the blader and see if you really like the char or not. if you dont, just repeat a few more times. alot of people say that the "unique" in unique build means that its shit. not always. people say, you never see bladers at the cap, that means they suck. i don't know that for sure. i am taking my blader to the cap and then i will decide for myself if he sucks or not. dont get sucked into this bullshit "SRO propaganda." f*** what everyone else thinks, if you are happy with your char, then play with him. if, down the road, it doesn't work out, oh well, at least you will walk away with a feling of accomplishment that you tried!

imo bladers got a lot better now....stupid status....
cut your defense, u take dmg constantly, cant act right.....
combo is really overpower.....

Btw :: bow is best and fun to play whit anyway..

if u want to own in pvp dont go with blade... but if u want to be TANK like real in guild wars etc go blade :p

a lot of ppl change from glaive to blade, and blade to bow. So bow is da best!
Anyway, if u are blader, dont think of owning any pure str char. U can only bully pure int and hybrid int

I think I might be the only blader in this thread. >.> It is sad how much of
an opinion everyone has on this build, when most have only read horror
stories and chosen to stay away. I have played numerous other builds,
from pure str glavie to pure hybrid bow, I have done most builds to see
what I liked best. Honestly, every time I played I would get to about 45
and get bored. The other builds just don't have the defense I prefer to
have, which a blader gives to me.

In pvp I have found that people my level and all the way up to 71 can't kill
me. They may do a ton of damage with nukes, but they can't kill me
without a second person around. Glaviers will have you believe that
bladers can't beat them, well I wish I could get fraps to work on my
computer, because I kill plenty of them that are higher then me. My nice
blade and decent garments are the reason I can win so much more often
then other bladers. Sure it is rare to have a good blader, but if you stick to
it, and follow some of the guides on here, you can be successful in being
one of the best bladers around. xP

If you wanna have fun, stay blader. Yesterday...i tanked 8 Yeti's at same time. 1 party giant, 1 party champion, 2 general party mobs and 4 normal mobs. THAT WAS LIKE HELL. It's so much fun when you KD 2-3 mobs, then stab one, stab second one. KD again, chains. I was killing them for pretty long time, specially party giant...he was making ~1200-1500 dmg to me (i'm lvl56) + other 7 mobs with pretty high dmg too. My wolf died, but i survive, tanked them all...killed also. That was one of the most fun moments in all my grinding history. Gained much exp + some drops...

Also, many ppl, specially int spear's ask me to tank some party mobs when they dealing very huge dmg to them, it's a very nice teamwork. I'm keeping mob busy when others killing him. Some of them are very nice, sharing drops and ect.

So, bladers are very good in teamwork, and teamwork is fun...so automatically blader = fun.

Just stay blader and enjoy the game

when i was 76 i had a guildie who was a 74 blader, went hunting together. we fought two thieves one lvl 80Int and another 75+ with a glavie of +7. and fought more than 3 minutes and still staying alive because i got a lot of help coming from this blader who some KDs after i do Stuns. All we want that time is to survive. But was interrupted when alessa got into our way.This is how i respect Bladers who uses and play with caution and especially who uses brains.

IMO the most likely reason for that is the fact that ksro was at lvl 69 skills at a lvl 90 cap for a while until the legend VI update came, so most likely the bladers that have gotten up to or near that cap might of switched since skills were at a much lower level.

maybe because they're hard/slow to grind like everyone says not necessarily cuz it's a bad build?
