Since Euro patch, I've had ????? error a lot of times. Anyone else?

Havnt had it alot but it does happend D:

the reason for this is not the europe update it is because the latest directX and DirectX SDK versions are for august 2007 i downloaded them and stopped getting those errors also check for video card updates and that your in game resolution is the same as your desktop resolution this can cause problems in sro due to its poor coding

My game crashes with ???????? all the time Close to impossible to play.

I get the error all the time. Not so much when Im grinding but when I stall, leave the CPU for 5 mins, return, and then the ?????????? error is there. 100% hit ratio.

What do you mean with the Direct X? Do we need to download and install the latest Direct X? Or some previous version?

update your graphic card driver.

I got it like seven times yesterday

sometimes when i start the launcher.

nothing more.

well i think its the graphics card
i know mine sux so im use to it once in a while.

thats the only time I get the issue, I always seemed to be blessed with not having all these errors everyone bitches about...

OMG HAPPENS TO ME ALL DAY LONG! EVERY TIME I TELEPORT AND USE A RETURN SCROLL!!!!!! XD

I can stay logged in anytime except when I want to grind. I can go pvp and job for hours, get to the Generals and I get question marked within 15 mins.

I get it 15+ times a day when I grind but never any other time. I never got this before the euro patch but its been hell ever since. Ive updated all drivers etc, but to avail. Its is annoying as hell!

@Disconnected I never thought of doing DX, i will try that and see if it helps.

lol yea,me too,i updated my graphics driver and stuff,still doesnt work,iput SRO to run in windowed mode still doesnt work,im almost tired to make an thread about this shit on official forum,it gets deleted with no answer.

If you have problems with disconnection or getting error??? go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads and download the new directX. I downloaded the directX9c (released date is July 31st). So far no disconnnecting or error???.

i dont think it is coz i got a new comp and all a few months ago, and i got the latest drivers... but since the update i was getting ???? every time i used return scrolls, bandit den scrolls, teleport from takla to central asia, or died and ressed in town... it stopped now but i still get it sometimes and if i get dc and try to start client again i get it like 3-4 times in a row, not always but still a lot

well .. i have that problem, but only in chinese char.
My solution: Don't use Additional quick slot <-- totaly empty. That resolves 90% my problem.

In europe char don't have any problems ... sometimes some ??? but in a litle %
So, i use Additional quick slot in europe char, but no in my chinese char.

I have the same thing happening to me. Everytime I go grind, all the lag comes out of no where and the constant ??? errors. Just like you, I never got it before the Euro patch. Glad i'm not the only one -_-''

Well, Ive lost the count today, I think it was something between 20 and 25 disconection on the same day. Only happen if I try to attack something (mobs or pvp) and Ive got 2 series of more than 5 disconection each, lasting less than 20 second logged in to the game. I have the latest graphic card drivers and latest direct x and never happen this before euro. Euro client is bugged, joymax has to accepted it and fix it .

thers an issue with the new skill bar for chinese chars. If you put skills, pots w/e in it take em out bfo u use a scroll or you will more than likely crash and get the ???? error. Only on chinese chars.

Have the latest Direct X and Graphics drivers. It seemed to been fine for a couple hours then i got hit with about 3 in a row. Restarting only delays the inevitable. I would like to blame it on my computer because its not so great, but I had no problems before euro.

downloading the new directx, hoping for improvment

get the ???? like every 4th teleport + some random every 5-120mins xD

dont use quick bar if you put there anything your client will be crash its someting about game client not for your system
