ok this isnt a question about those two against each other, but what should i choose and thoughts of new cap and current right now..

yeah i know not much time passed since i asked simmilar question, but anyways i just cant pick what i like, as i always wanted to have a spear skills, but missing a shield makes me feel somehow strange :p

well i am a hybrid 85% balance naked , and wondering will i be able to kill at all at the 80 cap with sword?, or should i choose spear cause hybrid s/s arent that strong now,

yes this is a pvp based question, and i got some time to choose cause im still farming but i would like to know anything good and bad from ur expirience, and if u were s/s and moved to spear dissapointments or opposite =)

S/S because you will die less and KD helps a lot.

Spear if your full sosun since full sosun spear > Sosun sword

hehe well yet i like the s/s too , but was wondering what its like on lvl 80, i mean does it able to kill at all?, those STR people having lot of HP and probably gonna heal up faster than i hit..

I'm a hybrid int, garment s/s.
I must say i'm very good against int players and i win sometimes against str builds. Definitely a glavier is the hardest to kill, but now having mana shield that's another thing ....unless they have som or sun weapons


As in for grinding, i use my 64+9 spear .

Anyway, i voted for s/s. When i PVP, I have a 64+9 shield so i rather to have a very good defense and KD-stab the opponent, then nuking and etc. That's what it works for me .

becouse you can dual still. But more balance on spear. becouse u can get snow shield, if u lvl cold.

My advice:
-choose spear. fire light heuksal 80 cold 60
-with fully alchemied clothes +2079hp from passive u can reach 12500hp
-use protector
-5int on all ur clothes +1200mp will give u 18k mp so mana shield wont be a problem
-if u have at least a +4set u will be able to tank sun glaviers for 2min.
-with the new skills u`ll do a lot of dmg even with a 72+5spear

i suggest spear and with the new mana shield you wont die so fast
you CAN actually kill someone but with s/s you CANT kill a full str to kill a full str you must take at least half of his hp with one nuke if you dont you cant kill him only with luck

you can kill a glavier it will just take over a minute probably not an archer with that knock back chance they have or a blader but the blader couldn't kill you either

hehe well, to drop fire, and get spear instead so my build would be as follow, light80 ice60 bicheon80 spear80... would take me 2 and half years to farm, and i will arelady quit, but anyways... just a thought xD

still cant decide what to take though -.-

dont drop fire that is a terrible idea that magic defense buff is great at higher lvls
