Whats your opinion on Powerlvling?
Since euro update, pwrlvling is back with a vengeance. For the benefit of those who dont know what I'm referring to powerleveling in the context below (and not to the company that you pay them to play for you -.-):
To powerlevel is to use a high level charachter in an xp share party to help a lower level charachter gain quick xp, usually optimal when the monster killed is 12levels higher (max) of the lower level charachter.
Its resurfacing again in numbers now because of new euro chars, and the guardianship system.
I'm not going to say much cause I dont want to influence your opinion this early. Be honest and voice your opinions whether you think it is acceptable, whether it is against the spirit of the game, and try to justify your opinions and give examples where you can.

Can't say I'm a fan of it, but thats only because I don't like the idea of having someone/something else doing the work for me.
But as long as the powerleveler(s) aren't botting, then I can't say there is something wrong about it.
I also hate having people do work for me.
If you powerlevel yourself though (use your high level to raise a low level) then it's fine, because it is still all your work.

The fun stops when you get constantly asked all the time if you can powerlevel.
Alot of people feel guilty for turning down guild/friends/union mates. Think of this the next time you start annoying someone with it. Also, there is a reason for them beign higher level then you. They have put alot of time into their character and maybe you should too.

lol it's okay, I didn't get the joke either unless it was that euro's are supposed to be powerlevelled and working in groups. I've never even made a euro character.

I don't like the idea of spending hours of my life leveling up and pointlessly grinding at lvl 20's and 30's when I can let a good friend play for me and help me enjoy the higher level of gameplay.
Especially if your chinese, I think pleveling for chinese will be essential to keep up with euros, who can outlevel a chinese 10 fold.
Who here can honestly say playing 6-7 hours per day is fun?
Not on silk road online, it's not.

In my opinion, I don't see any satisfaction in having a powerleveled character. However, it really isn't a major problem, especially when compared to botting.
Powerleveling is nothing more than just people taking advantage of the structure of the party system, in the same say that 1-star poppers were taking advantage of the jobbing system. If Joymax really thinks that it's a problem, then they will deal with it.
