I'm confused if i should join a guild...what are the advantages if you are a guild member?

Most of the guild members I'm on barely greet me when we meet in any place...can't ask them for help when i want to trade, and we barely speak the same language. And most of them are not even online!

why should i join a guild?

In nice guild, they help you and guild is like clan or something, you can go party together and its for talking with outher guild members.
It also gives you fun and you can easily sell things in guild or easier buy things

none of the noobs gonna ask if you're a bot lol but anyway, yea, it's fun to play together, join the parties with yourguild.

Who said anything about bot? I don't get it.

The idea of a guild is to be social. If you have a nice active guild and union, it whats make sthe game worth playing. Socializing with people. talking, having a distraction from endless grinding, thats the point of the game. Remember its a MMO not an RPG.

if your in a proper guild that cares about its members. not a crap one. its awsome.


you always have peopel to lend stuff/money, you can go jobbing pvp'ing otgether.

also, e.g in my guild (ravens), if someone annoys one of us, a reward is put to whoever pk's them and stuff ^^, alot fo guilds do that.

Besides its also helpful for trading, so you can have people you can trust to hold gold or valuable items while you switch accounts, to help each other out, My guild requires you speak english, and you shouldn't join a guild that doesn't have a languge requirment, you have no idea what the other people are saying and there is no trust or freinds if you can't communicate, if you are american can speak turkish join a turkish guild it doesn't matter, but you won't be happy in international guilds, i've seen then and tried to make freinds with but when it came down to it no means of communication make them suck.

ive been playing this game for more than an year and the guilds ive stayed for a while...only , around, 2 were like that...but they died...
Not finding a guild like that is what atm its keeping me active because i dont have any motivation to play

thats why our union is awsome (bot kilelrs of zeus).

its about 6 guilds like us, all active, union speakers, help each other out, and legit ^^. makes it real fun, cos you meet some awsome guys.

guilds like TURK_SOLDIERS wont help you or talk to you very much

The only major advantage for me are trade runs ( Union's )

Meet new people. I always start my own guild every MMO I play and have met a lot of good, non-idiotic people who now follow me everywhere. >.> <.< from game to game, so if you really get into a nice coterie you'll never be lonely again. Which, btw, comes in handy when music isn't enough to help you get to the cap.

Unless your guild is botting you won't chat a lot

If your guild is botting they will talk a lot

If they are hand grinding they won't have enough time to chat (unless they have 20 fingers)

That's my case I can't chat unless i'm in town Or waiting for TG
Every time someone in my guild start chatting with me i end up with 2 choices (let some player res OR return to town)

Lol! Me to. I've only joined 2 guilds that I really like, the one I'm currently in on Odin server, and an old one on Xian. Xian one was great, we actually had fun, got excited when our GM made it to lvl 47 lol. But they got inactive to the point where I was talking to myself >_>

But you see, your lucky , because you got one kind of guild like that atm...i dont

advantages:
- meet new players
- trade runs (lots of 'em)
- protected by high level guildies
- talk on vent or chat while grinding
- do jobbing together (if you're a thief or hunter)
- can lend some weapons/attires or even gold
- (please insert other advantages) :p

disadvantes:
- if you're joining a b*t guild or inactive guild. that sucks like a poo.

because if you find a good guild like mine.

Lvl5 guild Odin You get people who cooperate in trade runs. Lend gold equipments and basically help each other out. if you find a good union you will have even more chances of buying stuff from them and trading equips altogether.

im a guild master i bann players wh onever get on i have like 100m in my guild storage for poorer players and i hold contest and etc for players who grind the hardest

These days all what keeps me playing is union/guild.

I am lucky enough to have a nice active guild and the option to join other active guilds.

Joining an active guild is not the problem, strenght is nothing I care about. Its about being active and having a fun union. Finding a nice guild is not that hard, however finding a decent union is hard.

Advantages
- People/friends to talk to
- You will get help when you need it
- Guild/union trade (Fun )
- Guild/union emblems and nicknames are sexy
Disadvantages
- Guild invite spams
- No help or no one to talk to
- Guildless = boring

Well, some advantages of joining a guild is to meet some new people,and possibly friends(maybe )

And yea you can go on trade runs together,or go hunting together,or even go thieving together(which is really fun IMO)

But don't be too friendly and let someone you just met borrow a SoS or other stuff

Being in a guild and in Vent gave me the motivation to play the game. It's fun to synergize strategies in the guild wars, job wars, intraclan tournaments, etc. And the hilarious smack talking in Vent is fun also

I let guildies have access to every sun sets and weapons, and even some have my account login information, and never been scammed before. There are still great people out there

OT: Guilds are great! It gives you motivation to play. I've also come to realize that my guild is the only reason I play anymore. I couldnt stand being without the awesome group of people I play this game with. All the good times in vent just erase anything bad thats ever happened.

Ok. Ill tell all of my guidies to stop stalling. Coz thats botting 2.

lol, if you were on zeus youd be welcome to join my guild (lvl 5, most players lvl 45+ )

For me being guildless was never an option. Try it out, you might just find a guild that suits you.
