Should Joymax censor the word noob from Silkroad?

It's often used derogatorily and it's overused...lame. Any reason why you think it should be censored or not?

I can think of a million ways to say it so that I can still get the point across...

Not that I use the word all that much, just sayin the concept is good but others will find a way to continue their demeaning manors -_-

Yes, lol. In SRO "noob" is such a miss used word. Its practically the equivalent of "fcuk you".

But yeah if they do that they'd have to block, Newb, n00b, nub, and nuub.

They should probably also censor how the word mother is used. Since a lot of people like to think that making fun of your mother will make you cry some how.

why are people so bothered by this word??

I don't think I want Joymax trying to censor anything else after what happened the last time they started filtering out words.

IMO that word has been used so much that to me it has lost it's meaning. I pretty much use it jokingly with guild/union mates now and usually when someone calls me it I never get bothered by it because it doesn't mean anything.

Besides theres too many variations on the word noob to keep it censored.

btw how can u be offended by someone you probably don't know calling u a noob?

They should just take the chat filter off.

Or they should allow us users to turn on/off the chat filter by ourselves.
