I haven't actually figured out what the point of PvP is yet except bragging rights....

Also the same with Hunters/Thieves/Traders and levels with regard to them...

What do the levels do for you as Trader/Thief/Hunter?

What point is PvP without some kind of ranking system or reward? Can you see how many people you have killed anywhere in the UI?

This is for Euro btw....

Just to kill time when bored?

I don't know I don't see the point of PVPing too. Now if you dropped all your items when you got K0ed there will be a point in it.

well i PvP after getting new skills to test them on other players.

as for jobbing

when you grow a lvl in thieves/hunters your pwr fighting the opposite is higher.

when you grow a lvl trading you can carry more junk.

i guess that sums it up

This game is a PvP based mmorpg actually, not like lotr:o or WoW where there is a story.

pvp is just for fun and to see who is stronger

Game without PVP= Maplestory. And people PVP for fun to take their minds off grinding 5 hours a day...

it lets you test out how strong your char is compared to others...

also helps you build skills/techniques for guild wars and job wars

and yes a bit for bragging rights on how good your gear is...



mind you, this is assuming you're not one of those high lvl bullies that kill low lvl chars... cuz that's just lame.


the best part is when the higher levels blame lag when u kill them xD

You also meet new people in PVP - even make friends with them.

I love wearing an orange cape and running out of town. It's pretty amusing to see yourself getting easily killed when you can one-hit-KO monsters your level. It's also amusing to test your favorite monster killing skills on players and end up using some of those "useless" skills quite often.

I think the question is why did they enable PK ?

PVP is necessary to know how good your char. is before going into jobs

To see who's stronger or the strongest.
A mmo without PVP is ftl.

Compare yourself to others. You want to be the 'best' don't you? What better way to figure out than killing others?

To me PvP is a huge part of the game because that's really the only thing I'm building up for, to kill everyone.

to see how strong you are compared to other people ..
and pvp'ing is what makes this game fun O_O

The most important key is to never die. Ability to kill people is very important, but immortality is what people fear most and it's what will make your name a legend. The reason Death2All is famous is because she kills everyone in the server and no one could kill her in PVP.

The reason you level is to pvp.
