Job nicknames

Has it been confirmed yet as to whether or not you can use someone elses character name as your nickname?

I didn't think you would be able to cuz of scamming, making them look bad etc but I know if you was whisper someone their actual character name shows rather than the nickname so I dunno.

`people on alps make fun of othe rplayer name as SpearOfTrust -> SpearOfBot and Aryel --> ImAryel

I tried Spiritpowers on a job .. but it said name taken =/ Either you can't or some other genius already took it =/

You cannot use any name that is already used by another character on the server.

Someone faked a guildy a week ago and made people go mad on the real one ... so yes, it is possible as long as that name isn't taken ... but choosing your normal Nick as your alias kinda spoils the fun imo ;X ... I mean it is about being incognito...

They didn't fix the i - L thing, so some people can still fake other names.

I think it depends on how you PM the person. I've seen it both ways. I know the other day I was under an alias. I was talking to a friend of mine in PM and he saw my IGN, but had no idea what my alias was. I went outside the Jangan south gate to where he was at the time and he invited me to his party (again, didn't know the alias was really me... just a random person). He's like "join the party noob" in PM. Then started asking who I was and everything. So I think you can PM people with $IGN or $*alias. Either that or he saw my *alias in all chat and clicked it to PM me.

I recently traded it for a similar account on Red Sea, I had a lot to delevel to get the build I wanted and didn't have the patience for it.

I might make another one on one of the four new servers when they open too.

I still love this game, I just get bored when I'm capped, I much prefer the levelling up process.

Well I couldnt use my guild nick or my name so I doubt that you can use any other nick or name in your server. So start getting creative.

Yeah it was me you spoke to the other day, that was the last time I was on it.

I just couldn't be bothered to pick up 2500+ curst hearts, I only maxed everything cuz I never thought they'd add any 69+ skills, right waste of time that was :roll:

Well it's okay anyway cuz I had almost no friends left on Xian and a couple of my friends were on Red Sea so I thought why not, a change is always good.

Note: Fireworks screwed up on the 2nd, hence its at normal res (1280 - 1024 ) and the white box outline, but thats irrelevant.
